We're looking for a passionate, relationship-obsessed, data-driven

Manager, Affiliate Marketing

to join our award-winning activations team within Dentsu. Reporting into the Director, Affiliate Marketing, you will oversee much of the execution and daily strategy of 1-3 affiliate clients.

Responsibilities:External Relationship Management:

Build trust and maintain client relationships through "soft skills" and channel expertiseBe the main contact for your clients, responding to daily client requests and inquiriesUnderstand clients' brands, structure and industryParticipate in client meetings and presentationsBring well-supported ideas and concepts to the table for high-level strategy

Strategic Focus:

Work with Affiliate, Client Service/Planning/Integrated Marketing and Analytics teams, and other performance channel teams (Paid Search, SEO, Social) to implement cross-channel plansUnderstand how the Affiliate channel is a part of a holistic digital performance plan (but also how it differs from other marketing channels)Understand campaign goals and works collaboratively to achieve resultsImplement plans and pivot as budgets and goals change

Delivery:

Build affiliate campaigns, including account setup, network implementation, daily organization, daily client and partner communications and budget managementAudit and analyze reports, lead optimization efforts to meet campaign goals and performanceBuild revenue and perform to client goalsComfortable "overseeing" a fair amount of executionWilling to dig into the tech and data to find solutions and answer questionsLearn the basics about paid media channels to deliver cross-channel collaboration for a holistic, integrated marketing approach

Qualifications

3+ years' experience working in an Affiliate Partnerships marketing role

(i.e. specialist or senior associate at performance marketing agency, an affiliate network/partnership network, in-house at a brand, or affiliate publisher. Mix of two or more would be great!)

Experience in the "Traditional" Affiliate space

(i.e. Affiliate Network management, dynamic commissioning, CPA optimization strategies, partner negotiations (including TM+ bidding), content direct buy activations, and benchmarking/reporting on vertical benchmarks, revenue and ROAS)

An interest in Content, direct buys and top of funnel tactics as a driver of brand awarenessExpertise building incremental revenue while maintaining ROAS goals in retail, jewelry, accessories or apparel verticals within eCommerce or digital environmentsMastery of at least one of the following networks: Impact.com, Rakuten Affiliate Network (RAN), Partnerize, CJ (formerly Commission Junction), AWIN, ShareASale, Everflow, or TUNEComfortable working with a variety of different partners in the space on placements/bookings, CPA negotiations, and executionConfidence communicating with clients and team members in a professional, helpful, and measured fashionKnowledge of managing complex data and sort invoicingExperience with lead generation, content and syndication partnership marketingA genuine love of Affiliate, desire to work at a holding company and alongside an award-winning Affiliate Partnerships team.

Additional Information

The anticipated salary range for this position is $51,000-$83,375. Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors including relevant experience, knowledge, skills and other factors permitted by law.
