Seeking a female executive producer for a bold, candid, provocative, gritty, defiant, sociopolitical, unique, and heartfelt cinematic-style documentary film recounting the final years of an acclaimed and prestigious legendary nightclub that had been at the epicenter of the goth, fetish, BDSM, LGBTQ, and occult scene and culture of the Boston and New England area.

The venue had been a host for national and international music artists such as Peter Murphy, Nirvana, Alien Sex Fiend, KMFDM, and more, and it was frequented by acclaimed performers and celebrities such as Dita von Teese, Marilyn Manson, Bianca Beauchamp, and others.
This legendary nightclub had thrived and survived through a span of three long generations within twenty years despite numerous attempts to have the “controversial” nightlife spot shut down by intolerant and colluding residential neighbors, local communities, and city officials.
Sometimes dubbed the “Studio 54” of Boston, the club had defined a unique era and was one of the most daring and innovative establishments in nightlife history. It rendered itself a sanctuary for and gave an exclusive home to some of the most tolerant, open-minded, non-judgmental, uninhibited, tight-nit, and resilient “subculture” scenes and communities in modern history.
Please note this is a deferred pay position. This is not an unpaid volunteer position. All earnings, salary, and pay are deferred until after the film is officially released. A crowdfunding campaign will be held to raise funds for the film. Personal funding may be available before production begins.
