Position Summary: The Director of Product Marketing, Pulmonology and Airway Management will lead the downstream marketing management activities and team responsible for Ambu’s aScope single-use endoscopy portfolio for the Interventional Pulmonology, Critical Care Medicine, and Anesthesia Visualizations paces within the Endoscopy Solutions Marketing Team. The candidate will be responsible for building, organizing, and managing the team, strategies, and execution required to ensure effective product launches, market adoption, continuous growth, and profitability in the business areas. This position is well suited for a highly organized leader with strong leadership skills applied with strategic-thinking and analytical approaches in marketing management and execution.

Essential Functions And Responsibilities

Develop and execute on strategic marketing plans for Pulmonology and airway management portfolios in the Endoscopy Solutions segment - developing the marketing team, portfolio management plans, and the market strategies to optimize awareness/adoption, brand equity, business line revenue, and profitability of product portfolioOversee the development and execution of marketing management activities; product launches, segment budgets, and annual strategic marketing plans in areas and contribute as needed to the day-to-day performance – including brand awareness and equity in North AmericaBuild, organize, develop, and manage the marketing management team for Ambu USA pulmonary/airway management endoscopy business linesContinuously monitor and report on portfolio and team performance – including financial performance, key objective achievements, competitive landscape, and KPIs - and provide monthly business reviews and insights to the Vice President of Marketing and key stakeholders.Lead key cross-functional projects in building best practices in the marketing management teamSummarize, qualify, synthesize, and review the marketing management tasks – such as ensuring business intelligence, product positioning/pricing, ongoing trends, promotional campaigns, sales support and tools, market opportunities, and business case/planning are managed, reported, and continuously improving by the marketing management teamEffectively build and maintain relationships with peers and colleagues across global organizational levels, and with the executive teamOversee the market communication plan and goals for franchiseLead Ambu’s brand in Pulmonary/ Airway Management and ensure brand consistency in product design and Marketing communications, including trade shows and digital marketingEnsure highly collaborative KOL/consultant relationships and advisory boards are utilized productively and to the growth of the business lineLeverage sales support tools for targeting all key stakeholders for the product areaProvide insight into the development of education and training programs for salesforce and end-users, as neededCollaborate with sales management and other department management to ensure Marketing strategies and programs are effective and are communicated as neededOversee collaboration across geographies and cross-functional teams to build internal support, report on business progress, and accomplish business goals and objectivesUp to 40% travel related to tradeshows/conferences and customer visits in conjunction with local representativesAdditional projects as assigned

Qualifications /Experience

Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field, MBA preferredMinimum of 8-10 years of experience in Healthcare Marketing, preferably in Medical DevicesExperience in pulmonology and/or endoscopy, highly preferredExperienced leader, with demonstrated experience leading, motivating teams and people developmentAbility to effectively lead and manage projects and programs related to product launches and campaignsAbility to build and maintain relationships with peers and colleagues across various organizational levels and with the executive teamDemonstrated experience leading and growing a franchise in the life sciences spaceAdvanced Microsoft Office Suite skills, specifically in PowerPoint and ExcelExperience with new product development and launches preferably in the Healthcare and Life Sciences industryAdvanced communication and presentation skills requiredExperience managing a P&L and allocating resources effectivelyStrong ability to comprehend and analyze complex problems for business strategyExperience supporting a direct sales force
