Graphic Designer

"Our client is the investment + asset management division of a major financial company seeking a Graphic Designer. This is a 37.5 hours/week, 9-month assignment with possible extension that will preferably be onsite 2 days per week (Wednesdays and Tuesdays or Thursdays). The office is located in Newark, NJ and easily commutable by public transportation. The Graphic Designer will create high-impact customer experiences for the business, develop creative direction and concepts from briefing to delivery, and come up with a general concept presenting the idea with a storyboard. Once the pitch is successful, the Graphic Designer will bring the idea to life.Responsibilities: - Conceptualize, present, and execute print and multi-channel digital assets across web, social, email, whitepapers, presentation materials, UX/UI, etc.- Translate business needs into engaging B2B solutions that capture brand and market positioning- Help build out design processes, design system components and stylesheets- Combine UX thinking with design execution to produce usable and intuitive UIs and elegant solutions for web- Collaborate with product and marketing team to evolve and refine design, ensuring visual cohesion and engineering efficiency across all user touchpoints- Communicate design solutions to developers and stakeholders- Work within brand guidelines to create layouts that reinforce a brands style or voice through its visual touchpointsRequirements:- Portfolio demonstrating a diverse skillset across digital and print deliverables - Strong brand building experience and ability to apply brand across multiple touch-points- Proficiency in the Adobe CS and tools like Figma/XD- Understanding of HTML and CSS capabilities and ability to edit code when needed- Strong organizational skills, ability to prioritize tasks, a strong sense of urgency with sensitivity to time pressures and multiple deadlines- Ability to perform well and remain organized under tight deadlinesThe ideal candidate will be a self-directed and motivated self-starter with the ability to work with minimal supervision.Bonus:- Skills in After Effects- Experience working in Financial Services space- PowerPoint presentation expertiseCreative Circle's Freelance Employee benefits package includes eligibility for Minimum Essential Coverage (MEC) medical plan, dental/vision/term life package, discount prescription program, critical illness, accident, tele-behavioral health, and 401(k) plan.
