Who We Are Looking For:
We are seeking a passionate, creative, and engaged Senior Graphic Designer to join us in a dynamic and collaborative design atmosphere. Applicants must possess exceptional design, mentorship and leadership abilities.
What Your Day Could Consist Of:Lead a broad spectrum of project types:Oversee the development of projects from end-to-endProvide mentorship and creative direction to teammatesServe as an advocate for our processBuild long term relationships with clientsEngage in marketing initiatives for the brand activation service lineCreate impactful experiential design solutions for high-profile national and international client brands. Design services may include wayfinding, experiential branding, placemaking and sponsorship for a variety of entertainment, hospitality, and sports projects.Create a cohesive visual style for each project that will guide the graphic development of individual elements forward.Manage construction documents and large bodies of information for projects from concept through fabrication and install.Requirements For Success:Exceptional branding and graphic design sensibilities, with an advanced understanding of color usage, typography & photo composition.Superior interpersonal and communications skills alongside presentation skills.Previous experience in a client-facing role.Detail oriented, learns quickly, and adapts to new responsibilities.Understands how to read architectural plans, elevations, and details.Proven experience managing multiple projects simultaneously and staying on schedule and on budget.Desire to engage in a fun, collaborative, energetic team, with amazing projects and dynamic company culture.Work collaboratively with architects, interior designers, and planners. We believe that successful place-making demands an integrated analysis across many disciplines and all stages of project development.Strong work ethic, with demonstrated efficiency, flexibility, and a positive spirit.High level of proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Acrobat), and MS Office required.Experience detailing environmental graphics for fabrication, basic knowledge of fabrication techniques, and proficiency in CadTools a plus.Familiarity with 3D software environments also a bonus.Essential Qualifications:10+ years of experience in graphic design in a studio environment, with experience in environmental graphics.Bachelor's Degree (Or Equivalent) in graphic design preferred.Previous work experience in an architecture design firm a plus.Additional details:Travel may be required.Occasional overtime may be requiredPopulous offers a competitive salary and bonus packages.
