Job Title: Content Marketing Manager

Reports To: Director of Marketing & Communications

Location: HQ office in Bentonville, AR preferred (hybrid schedule); remote possible

Status: Full-time, Exempt

Position Summary:

The Content Marketing Manager is the primary architect and process manager for creating tools to communicate the Water for Good story across all marketing platforms. The CMM oversees and provides input into the visual and editorial assets expressed in social media, short-form video, photography assets, compelling impact stories and print media as needed. This position will report and assist the Director of Marketing and Communications in developing strategies and determining the most effective content format and platforms to achieve business objectives.

Responsibilities & Duties Overview:

Working closely with the Director of Marketing and Chief Development Officer, ongoing development and refinement of content marketing strategies and road map for regular communication of the Water for Good story across all platforms. This is the planning, timing, performance expectations and budgeting phase in support of organizational goals.Develop and execute branded content materials in alignment with Water for Good's overall mission and vision and according to developed strategies and plans. Content development is coordinated with internal and external partners and in accordance with project timeline and budget guidelines.Manage and deploy content across platforms with attention and evaluation relative to KPI and content performance benchmarks. Evaluate and utilize best practice tools and resources to ensure effective and timely delivery of content across platforms - web site, social media, direct mail, email, print, etc.Serve as a resource across the organization to compile, catalog and distribute brand story assets to support major donor reports, speaking engagements, PR opportunities, etc. Support and maintain a digital asset management approach to maximize content utilization and brand consistency.Act as a project manager and lead to create specific brand and communications products for presentations, annual reporting, web site campaigns, events, etc.Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

Passion for Water for Good's mission of transforming lives through sustainable access to safe water, and improved sanitation and hygiene in places that need it most.BA in Marketing, Communications, Business, Management, or a related degree.Minimum 5 years of professional experience.Commitment to storytelling, demonstrating impact, and experience developing values-driven content that reflects organizational and supporter values.Excellent copywriting skills that connect with all channels of communication.Ability to create and deliver creative content through text, image and video.Experience developing campaigns for faith-based non-profits or congregations.Strong written and verbal communication skills which will be applied through emails, letters, phone calls, and in-person meetings.Ability to come up with and implement creative ways to engage donors.Flexible and a self-starter; able to multitask while also being highly detail oriented.Experience working collaboratively and collegially with a diverse group of individuals that includes staff from multiple countries, Board of Directors, major donors, and partners.Eligible to work in the United States; no sponsorship will be provided.Preferred Qualifications:

MA in a related fieldExperience living or working in Sub-Saharan AfricaExperience with StoryBrand or other donor/customer-centric communications frameworksExperience with Salesforce, Pardot, WordPress, and AsanaPhotography skills and familiarity with photo management and editing softwarePhysical Qualifications:

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computerMust be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times

Travel Required: less than 10%
