Senior Producer/Editor/Videographer (Hybrid)

Location: San Ramon, CaliforniaJob Type: ContractCompensation Range: $60 - 65 per hourCella is seeking a talented Senior Producer/ Videographer/Editor to join the video team within our client's internal agency, a leader in the oil and gas industry. This hands-on role will focus on videography and editing responsibilities, contributing to high-quality video content.This position is local to San Ramon, California and candidates must be able to go onsite 2-3 days per week. The opportunity is 30-40 hours per week, and a long-term contract via Cella. Healthcare insurance benefits are offered, along with a PTO/paid holiday plan, and 401k.Responsibilities:Possess in-depth knowledge and expertise in creative and technical video/multimedia content creation both in the field and in the studio.Exhibit hands-on working knowledge in directing, editing (including audio mixing and color correction), videography, camera operation, lighting, sound, writing, project scoping, and budgeting.Manage, assemble, and shape digital assets to create cohesive narratives in a digestible and visually appealing format.Review shooting scripts and raw material to create shot decision lists based on scenes' value and contribution to continuity.Work independently with little oversight, using best practices and production methodology to create insightful and well-informed creative briefs, narrative outlines, and creative strategy advice.Expertly manage projects, clearly communicating and disseminating information within the project team, capable of forecasting team hours and monitoring time tracking to mitigate scope creep.Lead by example as a creative storyteller, problem solver, organizer, and thinker, able to prioritize competing deadlines and tasks, and translate business content/research into creative concepts.Qualifications:Education: Bachelors8-10 years of experience in video production.High level of experience producing video recordings for live and hybrid events, multi-camera switching, and directing and hiring large crews and staff with the ability to solve technical issues on the spot.Great understanding of the workflow and ability to lead the creation of graphics and motion graphic elements, as well as 2D animation assets and compositing.A keen eye for detail and composition, able to contribute to the vision of a project while taking direction from the Creative Director or project partners.Ability to understand communication objectives, key target audiences, their needs, and their relative importance regarding specific video projects.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Great client service orientation, able to engage with partners and executives across various teams within the organization.Extensive knowledge of production equipment, including professional interview lighting set-ups and camera operations, such as Canon C200, C300, Blackmagic URSA 4K, Sony a6500, Sony a7C, and Sony a7s, as well as various gimbals and production switchers like Blackmagic ATEM Television Studio Pro HD.Great knowledge of and continuous research into the latest tech in production gear and audio equipment, with the ability to manage, repair, and order department production equipment as needed.Expert level of experience with digital technology and editing software packages, including Adobe Premiere, After Effects, and Resolve.
