Position Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and organized marketing and events coordinator to organize outstanding, unforgettable events and support marketing team functions like social media and the development of marketing materials. You should be personable, creative, highly organized, and understand vendor management well. You should enjoy interacting with people and have excellent communication and project management skills.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Event Coordination. This will be the primary role of this position.Plan and coordinate event logistics, including venue selection, catering, invitations, and audiovisual equipment.Ensure seamless execution of events from setup to breakdown, maintaining high standards of professionalism and attendee experience.Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to align event objectives with overall marketing and organization goals.Properly register all continuing education events with the appropriate entities and maintain records and surveys of each event for auditing and licensing purposes.Coordinate manufacturing training classes, including event registration, payment collection, hosting, catering, and reporting.Prepare and execute tradeshows and seminars, as required.Correspond with customers and guests directly.Coordinate corporate and internal events in Greensboro, including the preparation, setup, execution, and breakdown of each event.Coordinate and execute employee-centered events, including holiday events, parties, and celebrations. Assists with company projects like the United Way campaign.Coordinate the bi-annual sales meeting.Shop for and organize conference center supplies.Organize and update customer email lists.Maintain spreadsheets of event reports, guest lists, and RSVPs.Sales and Marketing Materials

– Assist in developing and implementing marketing campaigns across various channels (digital, social, print). Create compelling content and promotional materials, ensuring messaging consistency and brand integrity.

Blogging and Social Media

– Assists with the writing and development of blog posts and social media posts.

Manufacturer Training Classes - Works with our marketing department to coordinate training classes. Duties include event registration, collecting payment, hosting and handling catering on the training dates.

Company Store

- Assists marketing team with inventory management of promotional items.

Position Requirements:

College graduate with BA or BS in relevant course study preferred (marketing, business, and communication professionals preferred)Must be detail-oriented, results-oriented, and able to embrace and adapt to change and effectively multi-task in a deadline-driven atmosphere.Strong customer service skills, with the desire to go above and beyond for internal and external customers.Effective communication skillsSense of humorHigh levels of organization, planning, presentation, customer service, and professionalism.Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office products, including MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.Ability to work occasional evenings and weekends.Physical Demands
