As the Sr Director of Strategy, Planning, & Performance you will support the team in increasing customer acquisition and retention, generate engagement through multi-channel marketing campaigns, and foster recognition of loyalty benefits. On the Global Brand Marketing Strategy team reporting to the Senior Vice President of Global Brand Marketing Strategy, you will be the strategic lead for all planning and measurement for the Marketing & Loyalty team, and work on projects including Go-To-Market strategy, campaign strategies, brand strategies, annual strategy & planning processes, campaign and marketing performance, budget management, and Team Member engagement.

What will I be doing?

As the Sr Director of Strategy, Planning, & Performance you will lead a team responsible for the development, execution, and measurement of key strategic priorities and plans for the Marketing & Loyalty organization. On the Global Brand Marketing Strategy team reporting to the Senior Vice President, Global Brand Marketing Strategy, you will work on quarterly and annual strategy and planning processes, the development of strategic plans, measurement of key marketing campaigns and performance, and the socialization and alignment of those plans with leaders across the Hilton enterprise and external agency partners.

Your responsibilities will also include:

Develop and execute long-term strategic plans in alignment with Hilton’s overall business objectivesPartner with the SVP Global Brand Marketing Strategy and Leadership Team to define and prioritize key strategic initiatives, ensuring alignment with the company’s vision and goalsOversee the creation and implementation of detailed project plans, timelines, and budgetsProvide regular performance reports to the CMO and Leadership Team, highlighting key achievements, challenges, and recommendationsDevelop and implement risk mitigation strategies to ensure the achievement of strategic goalsImplementation of strategic initiatives and project plansFacilitate regular strategy and planning meetings, workshops, and presentations to communicate strategic priorities and progressMonitor financial performance, identifying and address variances, and implementing corrective actions as neededLead and mentor a high-performing team of strategy and planning professionals, fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement.Identify and develop talent within the team, providing coaching, feedback, and professional development opportunities

How you will collaborate with others:

Partner with leaders across the Brands and Commercial Services Teams, Centers of Excellence including Finance, HR, Communications/PR, and Legal, and external Agency partners to align Enterprise and M&L strategies and deliver upon business objectivesPromote Marketing & Loyalty initiatives across the organization and drive a data-driven approach to marketing strategies and plansEnsure effective execution of strategic initiatives by coordinating cross-functional teams and managing resources efficientlyPromote a collaborative and inclusive work environment, encouraging diverse perspectives and ideas.

What initiatives you will take ownership of:

Lead the quarterly, annual, and long-term strategy and planning processes for the Marketing & Loyalty team including the development of strategic goals, objectives, and key performance indicators (KPIs)Oversee the development and management of the Marketing & Loyalty budget in close partnership with Finance and Marketing & Loyalty leadership, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities and efficient use of resourcesDevelop and maintain a comprehensive performance measurement framework, including financial performance, to monitor progress against strategic goals and objectives and implement corrective actions as needed – lead quarterly QBRs to highlight performance

To fulfill this role successfully, you must possess the following minimum qualifications and experience:

Twelve (12) of work experience in project management, strategy, or consultingSeven (7) years of work experience leading teamsTravel up to 25%

It would be useful in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:

Experience working in the hospitality industryExperience leading organizational innovation projects, project management teams, or consulting teamsExperience delivering strategic plans to executive-level leadersYou are proficient in AirTable and MS applications including SharePoint, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
