Job Purpose

Develop creative, innovative, and inspirational designs for internal and external audiences across print, digital, and social platforms that align with the Furnitureland South brand standards and brand voice.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

Ensure consistency in brand messaging, voice, and visual identity across all marketing channels and touchpoints.Determine the size and arrangement of illustrative material and copy; select the style and size of type; and arrange the layout based on the available space, knowledge of layout principles, and aesthetic design concepts.Develop visually appealing graphics, layouts, and illustrations for various media including digital, print, and socialOwn responsibility for the high level of creativity and integrity that our marketing materials reflect.Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and maintaining a high standard of quality.Contribute to strategic planning for the marketing department. Assist with creative direction as needed.Ability to take creative direction, feedback, and suggestions, andimplementacross a range of deliverables.Strong grasp of patience and collaboration with team members and leadership to land on final designs that get produced.Keep up-to-date with industry trends, tools, and technologies to continually enhance design skills and bring fresh ideas to the team.Closely collaborate with internal teams including Marketing, Merchandising, Sales and Operations along with external Vendors to brainstorm and conceptualize ideas, ensuring consistency and alignment with the Furnitureland South Brand identity.Treat all internal and external teams as your “client” with expert communication skills and a sense of urgency.Respond promptly to requests and take personal responsibility to deliver strong, compelling solutions.Other duties as assigned.This is an onsite role.Competencies

Portfolio - A strong portfolio showcasing a range of design projects and styles.Technical Skills - Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), knowledge of other design software is a plus.Creative Skills - Strong visual design skills, including typography, color theory and layout design.Communication - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts and ideas clearly.Detail-Oriented -Keen attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.Time Management - Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.Highly proficient with graphic design tools including Adobe Create Suite, Canva, etc.Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).Required Education and Experience

A bachelor's degree from an accredited University in Marketing, or a related field, and two to fiveyearsofGraphic Design/Creative Marketing experience.Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite.Proficient in MS Office Suite.Understanding of CMS platformStrong understanding of marketing principles.Expert in managing multiple projects from concept to delivery.Preferred Education and Experience

1-2 years of agency experience.Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and Canva.Experience working in the Home Furnishings, or adjacent, industry.
