As the Director of Content Licensing Strategy, you'll report directly to the Vice President of Global Commercial Operations. In this pivotal role, you'll lead the charge in shaping strategic content initiatives, developing robust frameworks, and implementing benchmarking systems to tackle key content challenges. You'll collaborate closely with our leadership team during strategy reviews, stay ahead of industry trends, and conduct in-depth financial analyses to drive crucial content licensing negotiations. Manage the development of frameworks and analyses for assessing key strategic questions around content.Develop and implement benchmarking systems and processes to support analyses and recommendations.Provide support for senior management, including strategy reviews, presentations, and other leadership meetings.Monitor region’s macroeconomic trends, programming trends, competitive landscape, and new technologies for deep dive territory reviews and organic business opportunities.Run financial analysis and models for larger, key content licensing deal negotiations.Maintain streamlined business practices across key deal terms and pricing benchmarking.Support sales teams in crafting long-term content licensing agreements throughout the negotiation process.Collaborate with other teams to build the tools and processes necessary to drive strategy and analysis initiatives.Maintain an in-depth knowledge of industry trends and competitive activity.Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in business, finance, or similar field.8+ years of work experience, including 2+ years’ experience in global content licensing supporting business development, sales strategy, or finance in the media/entertainment industry.Experience wrangling large data sets, writing SQL queries, and/or using data visualization/manipulation tools like Looker, Tableau, and MicroStrategy.Proficiency with Microsoft Suite of products, with strong Excel and PowerPoint skills; experience with Salesforce a plus.Excellent analytical skills and financial modeling capabilities, with a deep attention to detail.Experience building executive-level materials, with a keen eye for presentation design, and the ability to distill complex concepts and analyses into clear, easy-to-understand presentations.Additional Qualifications:

Paramount Pictures controls a collection of some of the most powerful brands in filmed entertainment.ADDITIONAL INFORMATIONHiring Salary Range: $110,400.00 - 138,000.00.The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable, as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement.
