ITQ Dynamic Talent Bench - PT, Flex Graphic Designer (Traditional + AI)
This is an ITQ Dynamic Talent Bench, up-to 1300-hour track position. Seeking a flexible, part-time talent with a background in graphic design and AI Image Creation. Remote candidates will be considered for this position. Candidates will use personal or agency-provided technology for this position. Hours will be flexible from week to week and will not exceed 1300 hours annually. The position is intended to be open-ended, so there is no true end date. Contracts will be extended as long as success in assignments is achieved.
Position Overview
The Hybrid Graphic Designer (AI + Traditional) will play a key role in our fast-paced innovation ecosystem, using their expertise to rapidly visualize new product and packaging concepts. This role focuses on bringing ideas to life through compelling visuals, fueling iterative learning and decision-making within a large Client company.
Instead of focusing on polished, final designs, this role prioritizes speed and iteration, creating a constant flow of visual stimuli for testing and feedback. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams, translating their ideas into tangible representations that can be used for consumer research, internal alignment, and rapid prototyping.
Primary Responsibilities:• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project goals and translate ideas into visual representations of new product and packaging concepts.• Generate a high volume of visual assets, in a short time frame (in real time, and within a day) including product mockups, packaging variations, and brand explorations, using a combination of AI image generation tools (e.g., DALL-E and Adobe Firefly) and traditional design software (e.g. Adobe Creative Suite).• Explore a wide range of visual possibilities, experimenting with different styles, formats, and levels of fidelity based on the specific needs of each project.• Present your work clearly and concisely, articulating design decisions and their impact on the learning process.• Thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment, adapting quickly to changing priorities and simultaneously handling multiple projects with accuracy and attention to detail.
Qualifications:• 3-5 years of experience in a graphic design role, demonstrating a strong understanding of design principles, typography, and visual communication.• At least 6 months in AI image generation tools (e.g. Midjourney, DALL-E, Adobe Firefly) and traditional design software (e.g. Adobe Creative Suite).• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Recent design grads may not be the best fit as they may have more technical experience through learning but not enough balance of tech and traditional experience in mainstream.
