Your Impact:

Oprah Daily - a multiplatform lifestyle brand from Oprah Winfrey and Hearst Magazines that is making it a daily practice to live your best life - seeks a Senior Producer, Programming + Development to help with editorial video and story development. This Senior Producer will be responsible for overseeing and creating content to support membership-driving videos for the website and social, as well as content to engage the Oprah Daily Insider community. The role will require the ability to juggle multiple projects, write scripts, and work closely with video editors, talent and outside vendors. This person must have a thorough communication style, be able to effectively produce content at scale and on short notice, and have a passion for the digital video landscape. Familiarity with and a passion for the Oprah brand is a must.

What You'll Do:
  • Oversee and produce video content for the brand
  • Contribute in a meaningful way to the development of new franchises and production techniques that engage our community and drive new membership
  • Take an analytic approach to content development, tracking metrics and using them to inform future content
  • Work closely with technology & operations team in order to create industry leading live video content
  • Collaborate with Editorial teams to generate video around existing and new editorial content and curriculums.
  • Deliver projects on time, under budget, with a keen attention to detail
  • Coordinate guest bookings in person and remote
  • Coordinate talent & crew logistics, transportation, and media delivery for production
  • Work with production team to oversee production schedules, media management and shoot coordination

Who You Are:
  • You are a creative thinker with the ability to find new ways to present video content.
  • You have field production, post-production and live experience.
  • You have a passion for developing wellness content and content that is soulful.
  • You have experience working with A-List talent on camera.
  • You have a minimum of 7 years creative production experience and a well-rounded list of credits and clips, demonstrating experience in both traditional and digital video landscapes.
  • You have a passion and curiosity for multiple genres, and an understanding of the digital landscape and prestige digital production.
  • You have an exceptional eye for lighting and visual elements, being highly attentive to detail.
  • You are deadline driven and results oriented.
  • You have an entrepreneurial spirit and are a problem solver by nature.
  • You have the ability to work an extended schedule as productions require.
  • You have strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and are well-versed in common production jargon.
  • You possess excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • You are adaptable and able to take on additional roles, as productions require.
  • You have a passion for the Oprah Daily vision and a commitment to its mission.

The base salary for this role is between $83,000 and $95,000. The actual base pay offered is dependent upon many factors, such as: transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.

This is a position covered under the Writers Guild of America, East, Collective Bargaining Agreement.
