The organization was formed in 2021 for thesole purpose of disrupting and combatting Economic Euthanasia. We are dedicatedto empowering pet and companion animal parents with the knowledge and resourcesneeded to enhance and extend the lives of their beloved canine and felinecompanions. While we’ve made outstanding progress since 2021, Treasured Petsstill has scores of work to do. The problem of Economic Euthanasia is enormous,and the solution complex — requiring considerable funds and abundant humanresources. The duties of this professional include researching trends andbest practices on the web, building links with companies that complement ourorganization, and writing engaging content that includes the right searchengine terms to get our brand and web pages noticed.SEO Specialist Duties and Responsibilities:

As anSEO Specialist, you will analyze our organization's website to ensure we followbest practices for search engine optimization. Your duties include readingthrough all the current content to find opportunities for improvement and formattingthe site properly for smooth navigation on smartphones, other mobile devices,and desktop computers while tracking backlinks and keywords already inplace that may be underperforming.As our SEO Specialist, you'll perform research to determinethe best keywords for a particular web page and then create content that embedsthose keywords while providing value to the potential donors and stakeholderswho view the page. This position requires someone who plans on staying currenton search engine trends so the websites they optimize can maintain their searchengine rankings. Other duties include the following:Identifying trends and gleaning insights fromtesting, plus data collection and analysisCreating and initiating PPC ads while tracking,reporting, and analyzing resultsAnalyze and optimize our social media platformsfor optimal SEOResearching new and emergent keywords and integrating them into contentKeeping track of what competitors are doing and how well it’s working for themDeveloping strategies to team with high-value sites and implement cross-linksCollaborating with marketing and advertising teams to create SEO contentSuggesting changes to sites that improve positioning via content and linkingConduct in-depth keyword research and analysisMonitor key SEO and business KPIsManage writers and execute content briefs for our blog, newsletter, and websiteManage our link-building strategy to drive increases in domain authorityManage our local SEO and Google My Business (GMB) strategyStay well-informed of industry trends and best practices in search engine optimizationShare reporting and analysis of performance metrics with the executive teamHelp promote SEO awareness and best practices across the organization including educating stakeholdersConduct routine technical SEO audits, increase page speed, and overall site health, manage on site SEO to improve rankings and conversions, develop internal link-building strategy, and optimize top content to improve rankings and conversions
