Summary:

The Marketing Communications Representative is responsible for assisting in planning and execution of marketing and communications plans that effectively and efficiently represent the organization and its various service strategies and objectives.

As a Marketing Communications Representative, the objectives are focused on converting passive internal and external audiences into active consumers of the continuum of Riverside Healthcare's services. Ideally, this is done while maintaining Riverside's brand truth and engaging appropriate traditional and digital communication methods.

This position serves as the front line representative and liaison of a centralized core marketing and communications team and provides support for internal and external, proactive and responsive marketing and communications efforts.

Experience/Education Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Advertising, Marketing or Communications preferred.Three to five years' experience in marketing, public relations, professional writing or marketing communications preferred.Strong writing, editing and proofing skills, including the ability to adopt the appropriate voice for each medium and/or audience.Additional experience in graphic design, computer systems, traditional and digital media, and software like Adobe Creative Suite.Demonstrated strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.Advanced organizational skills and the ability to multi-task.Ability to work under deadline pressure and extra hours including evenings and weekends.Ability to function in a team-oriented environment, as well as to work independently with a poised, professional and positive demeanor, gaining consensus where needed.Appreciation and tolerance of rapid organizational change, multiple leaders and shifting priorities.Strong skills and work habits/response demonstrating commitment, organization, follow-through, self-direction and dependability.Willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.License or Certification Requirements:

Collaborating and coordinating with other Marketing and Public Relations department staff to ensure consistency in media, messages and budget application, and assisting graphic designer collateral and content development, revisions, printing and production requirements.Developing, organizing and implementing compelling, relevant communications, public relations and marketing action plans that will engage patients, potential patients, physicians, donors, community members, and the media.Ensuring accurate, on-time, production of requested marketing projects.Researching, analyzing, writing, reviewing and editing articles, press releases, media updates, advertising copy, digital content, newsletters, and other for print and digital platforms.Working in collaboration with service line managers, physicians, and appropriate medical center staff to develop and execute marketing and communication plans that will drive Riverside's strategic objectives.Working to enhance and protect the organization's reputation, informing, engaging and influencing target audiences.
