The Director, Marketing Strategy is responsible for leading the development and implementation of integrated marketing and communications strategies for all service lines, priority clinical programs, magnetic programs, organizational priorities, and child health research. With a unique blend of business and technical acumen, this position possesses a strategic mindset, intellectual curiosity, strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication skills and the ability to lead diverse initiatives across marketing and communications and the organization.This individual will anticipate and respond to market and industry trends to help increase market share, grow patient volumes and enhance our local, regional and national reputation. Positioning our pediatric experts and clinical and research programs to leading national specialists as among the best in the nation is imperative. Through a disciplined approach to marketing attribution, this individual will establish metrics to measure ROI, lead generation value and campaign outcomes.This role is pivotal in cultivating relationships as a strategic thought leader and valued resource among our internal clients across our system of care. They work in close collaboration with service line and clinical program leaders, faculty and provider leadership and hospital executive leadership in the strategic planning process, business plan development, market research, audience segmentation, channel management, financial oversight and tracking and reporting data intelligence to reveal actionable insights. They lead the internal delivery of initiatives and programs through the orchestration of the back-end technologies and workflow systems, optimizing marketing processes and operations technologies.The Director, Marketing Strategy leads a department of Marketing Strategists and Operationally focused team members, responsible for collaboration and execution across Brand Strategy, Creative Services, Digital Strategy, Media Relations and Internal Communications.Qualifications

Minimum QualificationsEducation:

Bachelor's degree in degree in advertising, marketing, communications, business, healthcare administration or related field.Experience:

Minimum of Seven (7) years of related experience plus a minimum of three (3) years of leadership experience is required.Preferred QualificationsBS/MS degree in marketing or a related field. Advanced degree in marketing or MBA preferred.10+ years of experience in marketing/agency/healthcare/corporate environmentProven experience in development, implementation, and measurement of integrated strategicmarketing plansWell-developed strategic-thinking skills, with the ability to inspire and lead others in a highly collaborative environmentAbility to plan longer term but with a mindset to adjust to take advantage of short term/unforeseen opportunitiesStrong business knowledge with the ability to quickly grasp relevant conceptsDeep understanding of digital marketing and integration, best practices and industry trendsProficiency in key marketing technologies and workflow systems (Salesforce, Workfront, etc.)Must demonstrate initiative in seeking new opportunities and solutions, keeping up to date with industry/market trendsHighly organized and dependable; able to multitask, work quickly and manage multiple deadlinesExcellent interpersonal, verbal, written and presentation skills with proven commitment to excellent client service at all levelsExperience in leading a team(s) with strong management and motivational skillsHealthcare experience is a requirementResponsibilities

Build strong working relationships with a diverse set of stakeholders and including service line leaders, physicians, operations, finance, and strategic planning in the development and execution of strategic initiatives for multiple and varied clinical programsLead the marketing strategy team in the development and implementation of annual strategic marketing and communications plans for service lines, clinical focus areas and child health researchDrive clinical program budget planning cycle, aligning marketing plans with overall system goals and objectivesImplement business metrics, analysis and intelligence to support overall marketing strategy and ROIDrive digital customer engagement and relationship management through customer journeys, process optimization/automation, and the design/prototyping of customer experiencesEvaluate emerging technologies and provide thought leadership and perspective for customer acquisition and retention where appropriateIntegrate strategies across relevant channels including web, mobile, social, search, direct, print, PR, etc.Strong interpersonal abilities to work with all marketing disciplines and teams, internal stakeholders, external vendors and agency partnersWork closely with cross-functional teams to drive process rigor and idea generation for the marketing planning, execution, and delivery processesDevelop creative briefs and communicate strategic objectives to internal team members to ensure initiatives are completed in alignment with business objectives and brand standardsManage technical aspects of key marketing systems (marketing automation, CRM) used to generate, distribute, and report on the complete sales funnel
