Marketing & Business Development Specialist

The Marketing and Business Development Specialist supports the firm's business development initiatives, particularly in litigation and corporate practice groups, by collaborating with the MBD team, partners, and practice group leaders. Reporting to the Senior Manager of Marketing & Business Development, this role involves executing various marketing and business development activities to promote the firm's strengths, particularly in the New York office. Key responsibilities include maintaining and distributing marketing materials, supporting business development activities like seminars, webinars, and sponsorships, drafting submissions for legal directories and awards, conducting targeted research and competitive analysis, and managing databases such as CRM and pitch trackers. The Specialist also assists with special marketing projects as needed. Candidates should have strong marketing technology skills, preferably with experience using Microsoft Dynamics 365 and ClickDimensions, along with excellent communication abilities to interact professionally with partners, attorneys, and clients. A meticulous attention to detail, especially in writing, proofreading, and maintaining marketing data, is essential. The role requires a B.A./B.S. in a related field and one to two years of experience in a professional services environment, with law firm experience preferred. The salary range for this position is $75,000 to $85,000 annually.
