Additional information about the company can be found online at www.bwpipelines.com .We are currently looking for a Communications Specialist/ Sr Communications Specialist for our Houston, TX office.POSITION DESCRIPTION:We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Communications Specialist to join our team. This role involves supporting our communication strategies, managing day-to-day internal and external communications, and contributing to our overall brand messaging.Key Responsibilities+ Assist in the development and implementation of communication strategies.+ Manage daily internal communication initiatives, ensuring clear and consistent messaging.+ Support external communication efforts, including drafting press releases, managing social media content, and coordinating with media.+ Collaborate with various departments to ensure aligned and cohesive messaging.+ Monitor the effectiveness of communication strategies and provide reports.+ Assist in managing communication-related projects and events.REQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND EXPERIENCE:+ 2-3 years of experience in a communications role or related field.+ Strong written and verbal communication skills.+ Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.+ Familiarity with digital, analytical and social media platforms.PREFERRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND EXPERIENCE:+ Experience in crafting press releases, assisting in handling media inquiries, and developing effective communications with diverse stakeholders including investors, customers and employees.+ Familiarity with the oil and gas industry, specifically the midstream natural gas sector including key players and industry trends.+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter (X), SEO, Google Analytics, graphic design, video editing, podcast editing.REQUIRED EDUCATION:+ Bachelor’s degree (preferably in the field of Supply Chain Management, Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration), or an equivalent combination of education and related work experienceADDITIONAL INFORMATION:Boardwalk Pipelines, LP maintains a drug-free workplace and will require pre-employment drug & substance abuse testing before hire.Boardwalk Pipelines, LP is an equal opportunity / affirmative action employer.
