You will collaborate with engineering, marketing, and other stakeholders to gather information and understand documentation requirements. Your role will involve creating clear, concise, and comprehensive documentation that meets industry standards and user needs. You will also edit and proofread documentation to ensure accuracy and consistency. Additionally, you will organize and manage documentation projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project schedules. This role requires conducting research and interviews to obtain detailed and accurate information, utilizing documentation tools and software to produce high-quality documents, and staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in technical writing.Hard Skills+ Technical Writing (preferably in the appliance industry)+ Verbal and written communication skills+ Content Management Systems (CMS)Job TypeThis is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 12 Month(s).Work SiteThis is a hybrid position requiring some days on-site in Fontana, California and some days remote.Work EnvironmentThe work environment includes working with 3 engineers and 1 designer in a manufacturing site. Currently, there are no other technical writers on the team. You will work on floor office areas with engineers who manufacture AC Duct Equipment and components, machined components, and sheet metal for brackets, as well as automated equipment.
