We practice innovation and quality by actively seeking creative ideas from multiple perspectives to evolve and inform the resources we develop.Cultivate Learning has an outstanding opportunity for a **Content and Coach Support Specialist.** Cultivate Learning serves as an agency that provides professional development, support, and training to early childhood coaches in Washington State and several other states. Reporting to the Director of Professional Learning and Coaching, the Content and Coach Support Specialist will develop professional development for both educators and coaches that serves a variety of needs specific content area aligned with the Early Learning and Development Guidelines, Practice-Based Coaching, and Early Achievers Coach Services. This position will be key in developing high quality professional development materials and tools, will be a part of the strategic planning process to ensure that statewide coach systems usage and trainings are well organized and on target, will support content for both in-person and online modalities, and will also serve as a technical assistant for statewide coach infrastructure support. This role will engage in all aspects of projects including: creation of project plans and timelines, tracking milestones and setting deadlines, developing content, engaging in feedback cycles with stakeholders, and implementation of projects.Collaboration and relationship-building are key to this role both internally and externally. Internally, this position will work closely with the Quality Recognition and Resource Development teams at Cultivate Learning including meeting frequently and working on cross-unit teams to develop resources. Externally, this work is done in close collaboration with stakeholders and coaching partners who deliver services to the field. Maintaining strong relationships and communication with partners is key to this role as well as co-developing resources. Training and support are also key aspects of this position. This position will be responsible for delivering trainings, teaching in the Coaching Certificate, and delivering training. This position will also be a super user for our Coach and Educator Community Interface tool (CECI) which is an online tool for activities such as virtual coaching and facilitating communities of practice. Additionally, this role will manage deadlines and ensure that grant deliverables are completed on time and in accordance with those outlined by the Deputy Director of Cultivate Learning, and the Department of Children, Youth and Families.**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**In support of this effort, the Content and Coach Support Specialist duties will include, but are not limited to, the following:+ Serving as a regional leader while representing Cultivate Learning in local professional development oversight and implementation.+ Coordinating support to early learning programs and coaches in partnership with Child Care Aware (CCA) of WA, Department of Children, Youth and Families and cross-sector partners.+ Attend and lead meetings with partners.+ Develop professional development and training materials in specific early childhood education topics+ Develop materials and resources for coaches that aim to support topical specific professional development+ Develop and implement tools and resources to address frequently asked questions and share with Early Achievers partners through webinars, direct trainings, and online formats+ Maintain familiarity on research assessments/scales as assigned to facilitate high quality training development, coaching support, trainings, and material development based on former and current assessment practices in Early Achievers+ Develop and implement various professional development aligned with the Coaching Competencies, professional development trainings, materials, and webinars related to specialized content areas in Early Achievers+ Develop tools and training materials (i.e. FAQ's, Tip Sheets, specific video exemplars) to enhance training and reliability efforts+ Support facilitation of trainings and assist in supporting set-up and scheduling of training events+ In partnership with the CECI team, curate and deliver CECI materials and tools for professional development activities and virtual data collection in Early Achievers+ Support coordination between partners on building technical assistance infrastructure across Washington to support providers with CECI use+ Support the development of communities of practice(s) among Early Achievers coaches and providers+ Coordinate with partner agencies to project future training needs for early learning programs and coaches+ Demonstrate understanding of the rationale behind QRIS standards and local and state requirements for early care and education programs serving young children, including HS/ECEAP performance standards and licensing WAC+ Actively seek out ways to attend to and incorporate our Cultivate Learning values+ Speak to diverse audiences in a language and manner that connects with their interests while explaining in clear terms Cultivate Learning’s work and mission+ Project management of tasks to support organization, clarity, and project progress+ Attend conferences and training as required to maintain proficiency+ Other duties as assigned **MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS**+ Bachelor's degree, with significant coursework in early childhood education, child development and learning,+ 3 years of relevant work experience **Equivalent education/experience will substitute for all minimum qualifications except when there are legal requirements, such as a license/certification/registration.** **ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS**+ Experience developing training content in early childhood education content areas for both online and in-person audiences+ Experience working as a coach, preference for experience as an Early Achievers coach+ Deep training and facilitation experience including convenings such as webinars, courses, training sessions (online and in-person), and communities of practice.+ Experience coordinating with multiple organizations on shared projects for large system implementation+ Strong written and verbal communication skills+ Strong organizational skills+ Ability to work effectively in a team environment+ Experience with data entry, working with databases, paperwork management, and working within project deadlines+ Ability to track complex projects and to ensure their timely completion+ Ability to work with people of various racial, ethnic, and socioeconomic backgrounds+ Experience with word processing/editing program, including Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Excel **DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS**+ Master’s degree+ Bilingual (preferred English and Spanish or English and Somali) **Application Process:** The application process may include completion of a variety of online assessments to obtain additional information that will be used in the evaluation process.
