Location: Binghamton, NY Category: Professional Posted On: Mon Jul 22 2024 Job Description:Budget Title: Admissions Assistant (SL-2)Salary: $49,261 - $54,261Binghamton University is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Admissions Communications Specialist working as a key member of the Undergraduate Admissions office performing duties to support the development and execution of effective and innovative admissions communications and marketing.Essential Functions: The Admissions Communications Specialist will assist with the following:+ Write, update and maintain content for email and SMS communications within our CRM, Slate+ Create, update and maintain complex queries and timelines to target specific populations+ Build registration forms and related communications+ Ensure quality control for admissions messaging through reviewing, proofreading, testing and continuous auditing of admissions communications, forms, events, ads and webpages+ Track progress for communications and marketing materials and help ensure timelines, benchmarks and due dates are met+ Update and maintain detailed communications calendars and archives+ Monitor marketing inventory and help facilitate orders+ Stay current with best practices and trends for admissions marketing and identify opportunities, efficiencies, and improvementsJob Requirements:+ Bachelor's degree+ 1-3 years of experience in admissions, marketing or related field+ Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills+ Exceptional writing skills and impeccable use of grammar and punctuation+ Demonstrated analytical thinking, problem solving and strong attention to detail+ Ability to work successfully with a team and independentlyPreferred:+ Knowledge and understanding of college recruitment and marketing+ Proficiency with CRM system; Slate preferred+ Professional writing or marketing experienceVisa sponsorship is not available for this positionAdditional Information:Offers of employment may be contingent upon successful completion of a pre-employment background check and verification of degree(s) and credentials.Binghamton University is a tobacco-free campus.Pursuant to Executive Order 161, no State entity, as defined by the Executive Order, is permitted to ask, or mandate, in any form, that an applicant for employment provide his or her current compensation, or any prior compensation history, until such time as the applicant is extended a conditional offer of employment with compensation.
