Medica's Senior Communications and Change Consultant will be responsible for creating and implementing programs and strategies that support organizational growth. This role will design, deliver and evaluate communication strategies and programs including change management and culture that enhance the employee experience and strengthen business results through improved performance.

Job Duties and ResponsibilitiesCommunication Strategy

Engage with senior executives and business leaders to develop key messaging, themes/topics, style/tone, target audiences and appropriate communications channels.Identify, write, and edit a broad range of leader/business communications for internal audiences, including speeches and talking points, videos and employee-related news and information.Develop internal communication strategies that support culture, engagement, the value prop, and business transformation.Translate business strategy into external news stories and blog postings for Medica's Newsroom.Support growth of the company in new markets by collaborating on strategies to introduce Medica as a preferred employer and community partner.Design and develop standards for communications success. Develop and monitor metrics to measure reach and impact of communications and to identify areas of success and opportunity.

Change Management

Partner with HR to design operating model, organizational design and comprehensive change strategies.Guide stakeholders and utilizes appropriate organizational development models, resources and systemic approaches to facilitate initiatives that enhance individual, team and organizational effectiveness.Develop a set of actionable and targeted change management plans and tools (i.e., communication plan, sponsor roadmap, coaching plan, business readiness, training plan, resistance management plan) while considering adoption, reinforcement, and celebration.Provide leadership for the culture alignment process and facilitates dialogues to accelerate the integration/partnership work between teams.

QualificationsBachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience; Master's degree preferred10+ years of progressive change management and corporate communications experienceCommunication Agency/Firm experience preferredExperience in developing and facilitating successful change management strategies and/or programs to all levels of employees throughout an organization requiredDemonstrated experience using data and insights to develop and drive strategiesExperience in program management or project management required

Excellent writing, editing, proofreading, planning and project management skillsExperience working with senior leadershipExperience in print and electronic production capabilitiesProficient in Microsoft OfficeExcellent listening skills and the ability to turn verbal direction into written communicationsStrong project management skillsAbility to multi-task, prioritize, switch gears at any time, negotiate and be resourcefulAbility to execute, meet and report deadlinesMust be able to work with a budgetAn extensive knowledge and understanding of the intended audience

This position is an Office role, which requires an employee to work from the designated office - Minnetonka, MN - , on average, 2+ times per week.

The full salary range for this position is $108,400 - $185,900. Annual salary range placement will depend on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, education, work experience, applicable certifications and/or licensure, the position's scope and responsibility, internal pay equity and external market salary data. In addition to base compensation, this position may be eligible for incentive plan compensation in addition to base salary.
