Golden Touch is a family-owned and operated wholesale apparel manufacturer with a mission to deliver trend-focused products for nearly 50 years. We produce private label brands for large mass-market retailers across the globe specializing in children's, junior, missy, and women's apparel.
Working under the supervision of the Design Director, this role will support the apparel Designers working on the childrenswear team with knits and woven garments.
Responsibilities:
Supports the Designers throughout the development cycle from concept to productionCommunicate and follow up with factories and team members on product development design detailsUnderstanding and adaptation of Time and Action CalendarSupports Designers with inspiration and trend research, and any related tasksFabric knowledge in both knits and wovensOversee samples and carry out any tasks to keep samples organized, steamed and photographedKnowledge of the full life cycle of a garmentKnowledge of PLM is a plus.Requirements
1+ years of experience working with knits and woven apparel.Bachelor's degree in apparel design preferred.Must be able to work in a fast paced environmentProficient in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop requiredSolid communication and interpersonal skillsProactive team playerGood grasp on the technical aspect of construction, fit, and standard specs

Salary Range - $50K - $55K*
*As a private company, Golden Touch may pay more or less than the published upper limit of the pay range based on an individual's demonstrated experience and expertise in their field. The pay ranges serve as a target and allow us to consider relevant experience, time in the role, salaries of internal peers, business sector, prior performance, and geographic location.
