Position: Full-Time Onsite
Hours: Monday through Friday 9:00 am – 5:00 pm (Fridays are optional WFH days)
Must be able to commute to the Virginia Beach, VA Headquarters location

Overview:
A Graphic Designer supports brand growth by using the elements in our Brand Book in combination with their own creative vision to bring to life marketing and brand campaigns that are eye-catching and alluring. In a world where digital advertising is the forefront of every swipe, scroll and click, Born Primitive has to stand out and differentiate themselves from the competitors and what better way to do that then through a strong creative marketing strategy? You will work under the Sr Creative Manager and Sr Art Manager and alongside the rest of the Creative Team to develop on-brand and appealing content for marketing and beyond.
Some of Your Responsibilities Will Include:
Create and design a variety of emails and social/website assets for advertising and marketing needs
Ensure projects are completed with high quality and on schedule
Work alongside the Sr Art Manager and Sr Creative Manager to establish creative direction for the company that adheres to brand guidelines
Prioritize and manage multiple projects within design specifications and budget restrictions
Perform re-touching and manipulation of images
Work with a wide range of media and have fluency in Adobe Creative Suite
Ability to collaborate with different departments outside of the Creative Team
Minimum Qualifications:
Knowledge of layouts, graphic fundamentals, typography, print, and the web
Familiarity with HTML and CSS preferred
Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
Compelling portfolio of work over a wide range of creative projects
Strong analytical skills
Excellent eye for detail
Required Characteristics:
Bachelor's degree in graphic arts, design, communications, or related field
3-5 years of experience in graphic design
Ability to thrive in a quickly growing and very fast-paced work environment
Ability to meet deadlines while tasked with multiple projects
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
Must be available to work Monday through Friday 9:00am – 5:00pm, as well as occasional Holidays and weekends.
Physical Requirements:
This is a primarily sedentary position; however, standing desks are available for use. Associates may occasionally climb stairs, bend, stoop, walk, lift up to 10 lbs, and crouch as needed. Rarely associates in this position may be asked to push/pull up to 50 lbs, work in extreme conditions (heat/cold), and/or travel on a voluntary basis.
