The Security Communications Operator shall maintain a working knowledge of and comply with all LMU handbooks/policy manuals. The Security Communications Operator will conduct the day-to-day activities necessary to ensure a secure campus.Required Qualifications

Promote the mission of Lincoln Memorial University to all faculty, staff, students, and to the community at large.Maintain knowledge and compliance with faculty/staff handbook, Security SOP, student policy handbook, and other policy manuals.Monitor all cameras and fire alarms inside the communication center.Answer all Security telephone and radio calls, and dispatch the security officer on duty accordingly.Maintain an accurate log of all calls received, alarms received, and dispatched times.Sufficiently complete at least 40 hours of new employee training.Report all maintenance and grounds issues through daily activity reporting.Respond quickly to emergencies.Maintain Emergency Response certification.Complete daily activity reports, consult and understand pass-on book information.Maintain employee code of conduct in accordance with Faculty/Staff Policy Manual expectations.Complete required institutional and program accreditation reports and other reports necessary for the operation and advancement of the University.Maintain and display a high degree of professionalism in appearance and performance.Perform other duties as assigned.Posting Information
