Washington County Community College is seeking to fill the position of Coordinator of Admissions & Marketing. This key role within the Enrollment Management and Student Services Division aids in the planning and execution of the college's admissions and marketing initiatives by coordinating admissions and marketing processes for enrollment management.

This role involves managing a database of prospective students, ensuring regular contact, and accurately entering their data into the student information system. The position includes maintaining communication with incoming students regarding enrollment requirements and establishing strong relationships with high schools, career, and technical education centers (CTE), and other organizations. Additionally, the role requires scheduling visits to high schools and CTE centers and representing the institution at college fairs and other recruitment events.

The position develops and oversees marketing strategies such as direct mail and online campaigns for the college. They lead the production of college-wide print and digital advertisements and support departmental advertising to maintain consistent messaging and branding. The position creates and disseminates press releases, public relations stories, and multimedia content about WCCC events and news across various media platforms. The position coordinates and assists in organizing information sessions, workshops, and orientations for students, which may include evening and weekend schedules to accommodate student availability.

Qualifications:

An earned college credential with two years of recent experience in education, knowledge of and proven experience in student success strategies and best practices. Excellent interpersonal, writing, and presentation skills. Bachelor’s degree with four years of recent experience in student success and/or student success instruction, knowledge of best practices in academic learning communities, demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with faculty and staff preferred. The ideal candidate should possess strong oral communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills, as well as experience in educational settings and/or adult education. They should have a proven track record in program management, sales, or marketing, and be proficient in Microsoft Office, electronic communications, and social media.

Salary:

MEA Administrators Unit, salary range $45,236 to $59,023 salary commensurate with credentials and experience.
