Anders CPAs + Advisors is a leading, growing financial services advisory firm headquartered in St. Louis, Missouri that offers various services to small and mid-market businesses with specialty advisory practices serving hospitals, physician practices, law firms, creative agencies and more. The firm’s services include tax, accounting, audit, technology, talent recruiting, business valuation, and a virtual CFO advisory practice.

To achieve its ambitious growth goal of doubling revenues over the next 5 years, Anders is seeking a Director of Corporate and Brand Marketing, reporting to the Chief Growth Officer. The Director will be charged with expanding Anders’ visibility and market awareness in and outside of St Louis through branding that leverages the firm’s expanding scope of capabilities and refreshed positioning. Under the Director, the Anders brand will support a powerful digital footprint and set the foundation for a variety of communication and growth initiatives including events, content planning and development, thought leadership and more - all supporting or leading to improved brand awareness and customer acquisition and retention.

In this role, you will promote and expand the corporate brand for Anders, ensuring consistent, differentiated positioning in the marketplace through a combination of rational and emotional end benefits. You will be the chief brand architect who guides the organization to tell a powerful brand story and have the related tools and channels to do so, including social media, content development, creative services (video, design, writing), and email marketing (in direct collaboration with the Sr. Director of Growth Marketing).

The ideal candidate will be a consummate brand builder, and a collaborative, results-oriented leader who is excited about working in a growing firm with immense potential to expand beyond St. Louis and be recognized as a truly full-service financial and consulting advisory firm. The role will have direct influence and frequent collaboration with C-Suite executives, partners, niche segment experts, business development, and clients to expand the brand’s awareness and commercial consumer consideration through innovative, differentiated, and sales-aligned marketing plans and programs.

What

You’ll

Do:You will be responsible for brand positioning, brand identity, and brand standards for both the corporate brand and each of Anders’s service lines: tax, audit, virtual CFO, technology, talent, forensics & valuation and others that may be added. Working closely with the Sr Director of Performance Marketing, Business Development, and the various heads of the service lines, you will play a senior-level leadership role in setting brand, content, and communications strategy, and will support the creative execution of demand generation marketing plans led by the Sr Director of Growth Marketing.

Your team will develop and execute firm-wide corporate and service line communications (email, web, social, blogs, podcasts, etc.).

Develop and execute brand strategy, including brand and market research, competitive intelligence, positioning and storytelling, brand identity and standards

Manage, enhance, and expand the Corporate Brand while developing sub-brand messaging for each of the business lines: tax, audit, virtual CFO, technology, talent and forensic valuation and their relevant target markets

Manage, enhance and expand the Anders employee brand, including Mission/Purpose, (why we exist), Vision (where we are going) and Values (how we work) to attract, engage and retain the best talent.

Website, Social Media, and Public Relations

Develop, enhance and maintain digital channels including websites, landing pages, and social media to ensure effective branding and marketing performance goals are

Manage corporate reputation through public relations / community engagement plans and programs

Content Strategy and Development (in collaboration with Growth Marketing & various practices)

Define an editorial strategy and calendar aligned to buyer journey stages and personas

Ensure content is created and optimized for organic search and lead generation

Produce engaging and high-quality content, including emails, blog posts, op-eds, social media, reports, and more.

Collaborate with cross-functional departments to develop a content strategy and campaign strategy that supports their needs and goals.

Maintain a consistent brand voice and tone across all written material

Corporate Communications

Develop all internal and corporate communications, working closely with Human Resources and the partners and service line heads

Events, Partnerships, Sponsorships and Charitable Giving

Develop and manage all corporate and business line partnerships and events that drive prospect and client engagement and sales, and promote Anders in the St Louis ,

Partner with HR on internal employee events and conferences

Team Leadership and Development

Hire, develop, and retain top marketing talent including a team of approximately 2 managers, 3 brand specialists, and outside creative services and public relations resources

Foster a data-driven, customer-centric, and collaborative culture

Manage and mentor direct reports to achieve their goals and full potential

Set clear team goals, expectations, and accountability

A world-class brand builder, ideally with experience in B2B/professional services (accounting, banking/wealth management, consulting, law) who has played a key role in driving growth through distinctive brand-building, storytelling and internal communications.

Ability to think strategically and synthesize the complex into intelligible, actionable plans, and lead others to achieve aggressive goals.

Your Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or related field; MBA preferred

Technology: Proficient in content management systems, social media platforms, and marketing automation tools

Experience: 7+ years in brand management and corporate marketing, experience in professional services or B2B industries

Independence and Leadership: Ability to lead brand and corporate marketing initiatives independently, strong project management and collaboration skills, ability to manage and mentor a team of marketing professionals
