The Strategic Marketing Manager – Dairy Feed will design and implement a comprehensive product marketing cycle for the dairy feed and nutrition space within the North American animal nutrition industry. In this role, you will identify market potential, establish pricing, and market strategies, define promotional activities, and manage product portfolios from innovation through phase out.Key Accountabilities

Prepare and coordinate product introductions and updates within the U.S. and Canada by interacting with the dairy animal nutrition innovation team.Compile and evaluate research on market requirements and identify enhancements to current features and functionality of the portfolio.Plan, organize and coordinate promotional programs to accomplish financial and budgetary goals in cooperation with the dairy nutrition commercial sales teams.Independently handle complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating only the most complex issues to appropriate staff.Contribute to short- and long-term strategy building for the North American dairy feed and nutrition portfolio.Other duties as assigned.Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, agriculture business, dairy science, animal science or related field, or equivalent experience.Minimum of four years of strategic marketing, product management or related work experience with proven track record and customer focus.Experience in dairy, feed, animal nutrition or agriculture industry.Demonstrated ability to influence and lead cross-functional teams.Able and willing to travel up to 25%.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Five or more years of experience in Strategic Marketing or related discipline within the dairy industry.Master in business administration (MBA) or similar educational degree.Experience in developing and launching new products.Equal Opportunity Employer, including Disability/Vet.
