Setting and delivering on our own standards for success is the reason we’ve helped lead our category and expand our culture.Puffco hasn’t just grown a company: we have started a movement that will mainstream cannabis enjoyment for the world.What is this role about:The Production Artist is responsible for creating and editing graphics and images for a variety of both digital print-media, including product packaging and marketing materials. The Production Artist must be able to meet tight deadlines and can multitask on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of relevant software is necessary, including Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign. We are looking for someone with strong organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects at once.Responsibilities:Work closely with the Senior Production Artist and Creative Services Project Manager to discuss packaging specificationsWork within brand standards and guidelinesEnsure package designs accurately represent the company’s brand and ethosCollaborate with graphic designers and copywriters to finalize packaging text and graphicsComplete final mock-up designs using Adobe PhotoshopPrepare final files for print and digital productionDemonstrate the ability to execute responsibilities and remain organized under tight deadlinesPrepare proofs for approvalAssist in project by supporting cross functional teams' needsAssist in finding efficiencies for the departmentStay current on graphic trendsQualifications:The position requires a bachelor’s degree in fine art, digital media, graphic design, or a similar field.Keen attention to detailIn-depth knowledge in Adobe Illustrator and PhotoshopMust be able to demonstrate complete high-level knowledge of clipping masks, layers, using multiple color swatch palettes, hand-drawing with the pen toolStrong attention to detail with a demonstrated drive for perfectionThrives working in a fast-paced and ever-changing environmentStrong typesetting, layout, photo editing, and color editing skillsProficiency using design tools like Adobe Creative CloudStrong time management and organizational skillsNatural talent for design and a keen eye for detailExcellent written and verbal communication skills.
