Job Summary We are looking for a creative individual to add to our department. You will learn skills in strategizing, implementing, and maintaining marketing materials and campaigns. Learning Objective . Learn the Continuing and Professional Education target market and work with staff to help develop the strategy for offering viable courses. Assisting in developing marketing plan and implementation. Work with staff to research and present new marketing strategies. Learning Objective . Learn how to communicate professionally with internal and external potential customers in person, over the phone, in virtual conversations, and in meetings. Conduct regular phone and email outreach. Learn information to assist potential students in registering for courses. Learn to communicate with the internal and external suppliers. Attend weekly department meetings. Learning Object . Develop the skills and experience to create timely marketing collaterals using social media to impact the department enrollment. Learn how to use social media platforms. Assist and update the marketing collateral. Assist with post Routine Email Blasts to Customers. Maintaining booklets, handouts, and flyers. Review Social Media Accounts The University Internship Program Initiative is part of the Laker Bridge to Completion Program, funded by a Predominantly Black Institution Formula Grant through the U.S. Department of Education. Required Qualifications Junior or rising Senior in business preferred Marketing. Good work ethic, written and verbal communication skills, Excellent customer service skills and ability to establish and maintain relationships.
