Our team is growing and we are looking for a designer who is passionate about product, brand, and enhancing the lives of others through the creation of beautiful, innovative visual and functional solutions for the world's largest retail markets. This is an opportunity to work in a team-oriented environment with our in-house Creative team, as well as closely collaborating with others across a diverse range of product categories, merchandising solutions, and product-focused brands.ResponsibilitiesDeliver high-quality, on-target design solutions for a variety of retail brands and categories, adhering to due dates, creative direction, and the needs of clients/customers.Collaborate with Creative & Sales teams to conceptualize and realize innovative, compelling product and assets.Provide perspective and solutions for brand-relevant collateral and assets, including web, print, packaging and digital marketing.Assist in the editing and consistency of deliverable media assets across multiple retail product brands.Maintain close communication and collaboration between US and overseas design, development, omni channel/EComm, and sales teams, ensuring product and collateral adheres to brand guidelines, meets timelines, and preserves the vision established in initial development stages.Bring innovative ideas for design and development to the team.Determine and review product communications for items in packaging development.Proof packaging, point of sale, and additional graphics, communicating corrective actions and revisions when necessary.Create and maintain organization/structure for all digital files.Assist in creating content for visual presentations.Research product trends and analyze the competitive retail landscape from a visual communication and marketing perspective.Keep up-to-date with trends in graphic design and advancements in software.Cultivate a team-oriented work environment and collaborative spirit on all projects.Skills RequiredHunger and passion to produce great workVersed in the principles of design: layout, typography, color, balance, composition and design trendsStrong working knowledge of Adobe CCMinimum Associates Degree in Graphic DesignService-oriented: prioritize requests that may require quick turnaround in order to meet a deadline or exceed expectationsHighly organized and adaptive, managing time and changes to project prioritiesAstute attention to detail: spelling, grammar, composition, kerning, alignments, consistency, etc.Team-oriented and highly organizedClear communicator, both written and verbalCollaborative and open to the revision of work, whether through critique or informed feedbackPhoto/video experience not a requirement, but a very big plusWeb design experience not a requirement, but a plus
