$1,000 SIGN-ON BONUS!

We are currently offering a substantial hiring bonus to new employees. New hires receive a $250 bonus on their first paycheck, after successfully completing a two-day orientation. New staff receive an additional $750 after successfully completing a six-month probationary period.

JOB SUMMARY

Plays an active role in creating company fundraising promotions, writing/editing marketing contents, crafting the Cascade Connections' story through internal and external messaging channels (including social media, website, newsletters, and all other marketing print collaterals). Works closely with the Creative Director to support and protect agency brands by making sure that positive messaging is maintained in the community and by ensuring brand and company voice consistency. Performs research on marketing trends, shares findings with the marketing team, and informs the Creative Director of changes that are relevant to the company's marketing activities. Researches, creates, and updates monthly lists of inexpensive local activities for staff and individuals we serve. Supports donor-retention and fundraising activities, creates recruitment advertisement, and writes and edits eLearning course content. Attends local networking events and creates and fosters community partnerships with local businesses, schools, and agencies.

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS

Experience with Google Ads, Google Analytics, and Google My BusinessExperience in coordinating marketing and/or advertising campaignsInterest and knowledge of current events and marketing trends within Whatcom County and Washington StateGrant writing experience and skill is a huge plus4-year degree in English, communications, journalism, marketing, business or related field

RESPONSIBILITIES

* * Social Media/Digital Marketing:

Know/understand different social media platforms and utilize different consumer statistics to increase productivity of posts

Plan and execute a monthly schedule for social media posts

Write, edit, and publish social media posts

Interact with audiences via the company's social media accounts

Analyze the company's digital marketing plan and social media strategy, study trends in customer interactions, and identify strategic digital marketing weaknesses to make improved recommendations

Work across departments to ensure proper messaging is being executed online to promote company's mission

Traditional Marketing:

Attend company events to collect photos and observation
