Summary

The Internal Communication Officer is part of the Global Communications Team and reports to the Internal Communication & Content Manager.

He/She works in close collaboration with all team members in their respective topics, on global topics and with a specific focus on the Americas region (HWI brand).

Responsibilities

Internal communicationDefine the internal communication strategy of the Americas region in strong coordination with the Global Internal Communication & Content Manager and relevant internal stakeholdersCascade and explain the regional strategy as relevant to all internal audiences (at regional level and at group level as necessary) using the right channels (town hall presentations, leaders com, newsletter, emailing, etc)Roll out any relevant internal communication strategies and plans, with relevant dedicated regional plans and channelsHelp the teams navigate through changes with relevant plans and actionsSupport the functions in their communications needsLead internal projects and roll out dedicated campaigns at regional level in liaison with the global teamOrganize internal events as relevantLead global internal communication projectsAssist and advise leaders in their communicationsBuild relationships with business partners

ContentDevelop and facilitate a regional contribution network to get updates and news of the business and operationsIn strong coordination with the External Communication Manager plan social media content for the region that drives engagement through relevant channelsManages the regional intranet content feedManage the regional newsletterDefines appropriate KPIs to measure the performance of the different communication actions and adapt if necessary.Feed website with storiesSupport the team with global content as relevant

RequirementsExcellent English (verbal and written)Good Spanish as a plusStrong communication, collaboration and planning skills with meticulous attention to details.Strategic and operational approaches.Strong organization skills: self-directed and capable of working effectively in a fast-paced environment whilst managing multiple projects.Strong interpersonal skills with a sense of diplomacy including
