This is a highly cross-functional role, which requires building strong relationships with a broad array of internal teams across Marketing, Sales, Product, Comms, Partners, and Customer Success, while cultivating compelling advocacy relationships that contribute to our customers’ overall experiences.This is an outstanding opportunity for someone with a strong passion for building relationships, understanding customers, and using strong communication skills to produce engaging content experiences in person and for programs. You should be prepared to set and track goals that measure the efficacy of marketing programs and advocacy efforts, and the polish to speak to any level of the organization.

Primary ResponsibilitiesManage and scale responsibilities inside the customer marketing program including: developing customer engagement strategies for go-to-market, product launches, and other customer marketing activities as defined by the organizationBe a product expert: stay up-to-date on features, functionality, use cases, and why it matters to customersProduce customer-facing content for engagement, including but not limited to webinars, videos, and other media as directedHelp maximize the effectiveness of go-to-market efforts by producing, providing, and coordinating customer content for campaigns, events, media activities, etc.Coordinate, host, and assist in customer events, user groups, and activations, working closely with cross-functional collaborators in executionBuild advocate programs: establish relationships with customers, recruit potential advocates, and instrument engagementSource, secure, and maintain customer advocacy pipelines and production, supporting Vasion’s target personas, industries, and market segmentsWork with global marketing teams to support the incorporation of customers in their regional marketing activitiesPartner with Sales, Product, and CX organizations on advocacy activities to generate insights and enable the existing customer baseSupport analyst relations, media relations, and events teams in securing customers for interviews, assessments, speaking engagements, panels, workshops, and conference participationEstablish success metrics for the customer marketing and advocacy functions, continuously analyze results and make improvements accordinglyPerform other duties as assignedRequirementsBachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field4+ years’ experience in B2B communications, B2B marketing, and/or developing customer marketing and advocacy programs, or equivalent experienceExperience developing and executing creative content or campaign ideas and programsA proven track record of recruiting, motivating, and managing customer advocates, or equivalent experienceAvailable for occasional travel, up to 30%, to meet customers and attend eventsPreferred QualificationsDemonstrated ability to build strong, lasting relationships with internal and external stakeholders (customers, Product Marketing, Sales, executives, etc.) as part of cross-functional teamsSuperb presentation, written, and general communications skills, including experience producing media, case studies, testimonials, and customer storiesExperience managing vendors and other third-party contributors that play a role in the content creation, such as designers and external copywriters.Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skillsSelf-starter and solution-oriented; ability to prioritize and work independently with minimal supervision and can-do attitude to get things doneStrong interpersonal skills and executive presenceDeep empathy for both cross-functional partners and end users, with strong customer-centricity and experience serving as the voice of the customerCapable project management skills; results-focused with impactful execution and follow-through; highly detail-orientedExperience with IT buying centers, print management, enterprise content management, partner, MSPs, eco systemsCommunity-building, event experience, user groups, and customer advisory board experience a plusBenefitsFlexible work environmentDiscretionary vacation bonusFlexible paid time offPaid parental leaveCompetitive payA full suite of traditional benefitsTraining/Advancement opportunities401k with company-matchMental health wellness supportFinancial wellness educationCompany-contributed HSAHeadquarter perks include gym, pickleball, snacks & drinks, arcade, theater room, monthly All Hands lunch, etc.Lehi, Utah office perks include gym access, snacks & drinks, monthly All Hands lunchOur Core ValuesVasion looks for people who will exemplify its core values and are driven to become:Action Owners (Extreme Ownership by Jocko Willink and Leif Babin)Candor Seekers (Radical Candor by Kim Scott)Relationship Builders (Leadership and Self-deception by The Arbinger Institute)Storytellers (Building a StoryBrand: Clarify Your Message So Customers Will Listen by Donald Miller)Our Marketing Team ManifestoProfoundly analytical Marketing org obsessed with customer, brand, and revenue.
