is looking for a technically savvy, passionate, and trained graphic designer for the role of Business Development and Growth Graphic Artist to interpret customer requirements and work with subject matter experts (SMEs) to create clear, concise, and compelling marketing and proposal graphics.

The successful candidate must possess the ability to work collaboratively with solutions architects, SMEs, and program leadership to capture key concepts and ideas while maintaining consistency in messaging and strategy. Design assignments may include support for white papers, request for information (RFI)/sources sought responses, request for proposal (RFP) responses, proposal technical content and solutions, oral/video proposal presentations, and marketing material for on-contract growth or new business pursuits. Other assignments may include graphics support for contract deliverables, such as training plans, quality control/quality assurance plans.

As a member of the Proposal Operations Team, the candidate must be able to work well within a team and be comfortable in a very fluid and fast-paced environment, building and responding to both short and long-term projects, deliverables, and plans. This position includes working with customers, internal program team members, SMEs, and other partners and contractors. A customer service mindset and approach are critical.

In this rewarding role you will :

Provide graphics support to business development communications including, technical documents, slide presentations, and customer-specific marketing materials.Develop and maintain graphics templates consistent with corporate branding guidelines (colors, fonts, etc.) and in accordance with RFI/RFP instructions and evaluation criteria.Create proposal cover graphics, technical and operational views, organizational charts, concepts of operations (CONOPS), technical and process workflows, information technology (IT) systems and interfaces, data graphs and charts, and other graphics as required and assigned, to include proposal graphics and packaging in accordance with RFI/RFP instructions and corporate branding.Develop, organize, and execute significant graphic design activities, including creating industry-leading visuals, and developing innovative design strategies to win business with new and existing customers.Ensure timely delivery of compliant and compelling graphic designs for proposal responses and business-development/marketing materials.Apply communication and interviewing skills to gather needed information from internal and external personnel to support graphics-development activities.Translate complex information, ideas, and data into easily understandable graphics.Develop proficiency in QTC lines of business (LOBs) by working closely with operational, technical, functional, and management SMEs, attending relevant meetings and work groups, and generally taking proactive steps to deepen understanding of LOBs and requirements; use graphic design skills to inform, enhance, and convey analytic thoughts and assessmentsReview graphics with technology leads, capture managers, functional experts, and other SMEs to ensure accuracy and efficacy.Initiate and maintain an art log of graphics for reuse.Participate in final production and quality review/book check.Modify and revise graphics, presentations, and packaging.Assist with final production and quality review/book check.Participate in continuous process improvement efforts as applicable to job duties.Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Education and/or Experience must haves : (includes certificate & licenses)

Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, or a related field and 8+ years of related experience or HS Diploma and 12+ years of experienceLeadership skills to develop, organize, and execute significant graphic design activities, including ensuring execution of design plans to create visuals that respond to and win business with new and existing customers.Extensive knowledge, experience, and success in leading and executing graphic design projects.Strong communications skills.Experience with developing and maintaining effective internal and external business relationships, including with customer decision-makers and industry partners.Demonstrable understanding of various design tools and software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Figma).Ability to work and execute a quick reaction process for all government responses.Demonstrated working knowledge of design principles and best practices.Ability to use automated tools such as Microsoft Office to present ideas, information, and reports.Ability to travel per needs of the business

Pay, Benefits, and Level Requirements:

Salary Range: $86,970- $106,296 with an annual bonus potential of up to 8% (bonus paid to be paid out quarterly)
