Communications Network Manager

The Communications Network Manager will manage the company’s network team and support every aspect of network systems and subsystems. Design, implement, and manage network infrastructure, including components such as switches, routers, and the installation of additional servers. Work in strategic planning for medium and long-term timelines based on company objectives to keep it in line with new developments in the space. Administer firewalls and internal network security, maintain existing anti-spam and antivirus systems, and set new anti-spam policies.Responsibilities
Planning, designing and helping the networking team to establish a network regarding the needs and requirements of the clients or an organization.Designing specifications to establish network security and protect the system from vulnerabilities.Establishing security measures to protect network infrastructure from unauthorized access.Monitoring network performance to identify potential problems and help ensure high performance levels.Evaluating and optimizing network or system performance.Designing and implementing network security measures, such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and encryption technology.Qualifications
Bachelor of Science and applicable networking certifications (preferably Cisco Certified Networking Professional).Minimum of ten (10) years’ experience or equivalent combination of education and training that provides for the required knowledge, skills, and abilities in core areas of networking design, implementation, and maintenance.Experienced with Symantec Antivirus/Cisco VPN solutions.Hands-on experience in networking, routing, and switching.
