Role DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site role for a Design Manager located in the Buffalo Area. The Design Manager will be responsible for managing the design team, distributing design workload to meet production deadlines, overseeing design projects, and collaborating with clients to understand their needs and preferences. The Design Manager will also be responsible for coordinating with architects, contractors, and vendors.
QualificationsStrong leadership and team management skillsProficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative SuiteCET and CAP2020 experience helpfulKnowledge of current design trends and principlesExcellent communication and presentation skillsAbility to collaborate effectively with clients and internal interdisciplinary teamsStrong problem-solving and decision-making abilitiesExperience in managing multiple design projects simultaneouslyBachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related fieldExperience in the furniture industry and knowledge of furniture manufacturers and brands is a plus
