This position is hybrid and based out of our New York City office reporting to the office on Tuesdays & Thursdays.

JOB SUMMARYICSC is in search of a talented Instructional Designer to join our team. As an Instructional Designer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and implementing effective learning solutions that meet the needs of our members and support our organizational objectives. You will collaborate with subject matter experts, stakeholders, and other team members to create engaging and interactive learning experiences.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESDevelop and design effective and engaging learning solutions tailored to our members’ needs, including e-learning modules, face-to-face programs, videos, and other learning resources using instructional design principles and technology tools.Identify and recommend formats/modalities that create an optimal learning experienceAssess the learning offering gaps for the education function of the organizationCollaborate with subject matter experts, stakeholders, and other team members to gather content, and ensure accuracy and relevance of learning materials.Apply adult learning theories and instructional design best practices to create learner-centered experiences that promote retention and knowledge transfer.Evaluate learner feedback with the Education Manager to measure the overall effectiveness of learning solutions and make continuous improvements to the materials.Stay up to date with industry trends, technologies, and best practices in instructional design, adult learning, commercial real estate and retail.

QUALIFICATIONSBachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, or related field.Minimum 3-5 years of experience as an instructional designer or similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.Proficiency in instructional design methodologies, e-learning authoring tools (such as Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate), and learning management systems (LMS).Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information in a clear and engaging manner.Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.Creative problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively in a team environment.Preferred:Experience working in commercial real estateExperience working with volunteersExperience working for an association or other member-centric organizations
