We are excited about reimagining the future of Behavioral Science and Design, in a post-AI world.Key ResponsibilitiesTranslate design research & insights into user flows, wireframes, mockups and prototypes that culminate in intuitive user experiencesDevise elegant solutions that truly bring alive and connect the dots between AI, Engineering, and DesignFacilitate the project/client vision by researching, conceiving, sketching, prototyping and user-testing experiences for digital productsDesign and deliver wireframes, user journeys, and mockups optimized for a wide range of devices and interfacesMake strategic design and user-experience decisions related to core, and new, functions and featuresTake a user-centered design approach and rapidly test and iterate your designsWe're looking for someone who has:At least 4 - 6 years of experience as a design practitionerExpertise in standard UX software such as Sketch, OmniGraffle, Axure, InVision, UXPin, Balsamiq, Framer, and the like is a must. Basic HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript skills are a plusAbility to work with clients to understand detailed requirements and design complete user experiences that meet client needs and visionA solid grasp of human-centered design (HCD), conducting user research, user testing, rapid prototyping, heuristic analysis, usability and accessibility concernsAbility to clearly and effectively communicate design processes, ideas, and solutions to teams and clientsA clear understanding of the importance of user-centered design and design thinkingAbility to work effectively in a team setting including synthesizing abstract ideas into concrete design implicationsPassion about all things UX design and other areas of design and innovationMasters or Bachelor's degree in Human-Computer UX (HCI), Design, or a related field of study is a nice to havePay:The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Fractal, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $100,000 to $110,000. In addition, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus for the current performance period.Benefits:As a full-time employee of the company or as an hourly employee working more than 30 hours per week, you will be eligible to participate in the health, dental, vision, life insurance, and disability plans in accordance with the plan documents, which may be amended from time to time. You will be eligible for benefits on the first day of employment with the Company. In addition, you are eligible to participate in the Company 401(k) Plan after 30 days of employment, in accordance with the applicable plan terms. The Company provides for 11 paid holidays and 12 weeks of Parental Leave.
