Position Summary:The Marketing Production Manager works with the Marketing Director and internal groups to execute annual advertising and marketing campaigns. They collaborate with vendors, co-workers, and internal clients to drive projects to completion in a timely and effective manner and provide targeted, persuasive copy which achieves campaign goals. They are also responsible for developing and maintaining marketing systems and processes to facilitate projects and manage timelines. This is a full-time, non-exempt position that is eligible for remote work within the US.Advanced Textiles Association (ATA) is a member-owned, member-driven trade association representing the global industrial fabrics industry. We have been serving the specialty fabrics industry since 1912 when fourteen manufacturers of canvas and awnings met and formed the National Tent & Awnings Association. The manufacturers decided to establish the trade association, and since this first gathering, the association has expanded in scope and purpose, and changed its name more than once, to become the largest textile trade association in the world.

Duties And Responsibilities

Copywriting and CreativeDrafts and edits a wide range of marketing communications across multiple platforms, including print and online, social media, advertising copy, e-mail blasts, event brochures and related pieces.Works with the design team to generate professional final documents which meet brand standards and achieve marketing and company goals.Serves as copywriter, editor, and internal consultant for developed materials, maintaining and continually improving corporate messaging, brand, and voice.Makes content recommendations based on business and user needs.Maintains awareness of customer, competitive, and industry trends in style, voice, and messaging.Collaborates with members of the Marketing team to maintain the overall look, feel, and branding of our organization.

Marketing Support & ProductionAssists the Marketing Director and Design team with formulation of strategic marketing plans and initiatives and executes assigned elements of those plans.Helps establish long-term goals for targeting and reaching new markets.Develops and maintains systems and databases to facilitate projects from inception to completion, specifically focusing on accomplishing set goals, and managing timelines and budgets where required.Under direction of the Marketing Director, oversees multiple projects with varying timelines and ensures their timely execution.Monitors and analyzes the effectiveness of all projects.Serves as a point person of email deployment system.Gathers data and submits audience requests forms, serving as point person for any audience requests.Manages email calendar and audience development for emails outside of marketing.Travels to Expo and other shows as assigned.If local, meets at the office for monthly in-person team meetings, or at least twice annually if not local.Uses Excel to make custom lists for Member Renewal emails.Creates, tests, and deploys monthly digital publication emails.Maintains and updates ads in various locations.Maintains ATA social media.

RequirementsQualifications/Competencies:3-5 years’ experience in marketing or advertising writing-intensive role with a solid background in writing and editing clear, lively, and inspiring copy for a variety of destinations, preferably in a business-to-business setting.Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field.Self-starter, highly organized, and able to work well at all levels of the organization to build relationships and influence others.Well-defined proofreading skills.Must be reliable and detail-oriented.Must possess excellent marketing communication, writing, and proofreading skills.Must be able to work in a professional, fast-paced, and team-oriented work environment.Calm, professional, and customer-friendly in stressful situations.Excellent judgment, interpersonal skills, and discretion.Must be able to communicate with a wide variety of individuals. Must be able to understand directions, communicate, and respond to inquiries in various forms and various levels of marketing expertise.Ability to multi-task and prioritize.Strong attention to details, deadlines, documentation, and project timelines.Experience designing and executing effective social media campaigns.Excellent organization, time management, and communication skills.Familiarity with e-mail blast programs (Real Magnet experience strongly preferred).Direct mail experience a plus.SEO/analytic experience a plus.Basic understanding of HTML coding and an eye for layout a plus.Experience with Adobe Acrobat preferred.Travel up to 5%.Must be able to move about the building and within/between workstations, sit for long periods of time, and be able to lift 25-50 lbs.Eligible for full-time remote with professional home workspace available.Must reside within the continental US with preference to a candidate local to the Roseville, MN office.
