In the role of Communications Manager, we'll count on you to:

Manage the development and execution of communications plans by collaborating with internal business partners, creative, marketing and communications teamsTake ownership of tactics and outcomes and measure their impactWork with engineers, architects, designers and other subject matter experts to develop and write white papers, feature article content, thought leadership articles, and social media postsGhost write and edit blogs, social media posts, papers and/or presentations by subject matter expertsMonitor industry best practices and maintain a repository of trends and examplesSupport event management where requiredLead engagement activities related to area of specializationResearch and develop content for distinct tactics and target audiencesInform scope, schedule, and budget for communication activities pertinent to area of specializationBring genuine, creative ideas to the tableManage and develop multidiscipline teamsPerform other duties as necessary

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field

Required Qualifications

A minimum of 7 years relevant industry experience, including management experienceExcellent written and verbal communication skillsSelf-motivated and ability to work independent with multiple teams as well as team orientedDemonstrated leadership and organizational skillsGreat interpersonal and communication skills - positive outlook and attitudeHigh aptitude for managing and solving tactical issuesAn attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a mustComfortable and competent while working with senior leaders and managing cross-functional effortsDemonstrated ability to operate both strategically and tactically in a high-energy, fast-paced environmentCommitted to quality, continuous improvement, and HDR valuesProficient in Adobe Creative Suite * InDesignProficient in Microsoft Office SuiteWhat We BelieveHDR is our company.
