What We Need:

Obagi is seeking a creative and strategic VP of Brand & Professional Marketing to drive all marketing and brand initiatives in direct alignment with our global brand vision. The ideal candidate will oversee four focus areas: Brand Management, Professional Marketing, Marketing Communications, and Educational Content through the development and execution of our corporate strategic vision within a commercial context.

What You’ll Do:Develop strategic business drivers in partnership with other department leaders to drive sales while maintaining brand image.Build professional marketing programs, collateral, field communications, and relevant promotions that add value but align with brand guidelines.Manage full 360° marketing campaigns in the US for all new product launches and growth of existing products/business channelsLeverage consumer data points to influence global marketing partners

Partner with International team to adapt global marketing and US materials to suit international market needs.

Own the development, review, and reconciliation of departmental budget to reduce cost and increase efficiency of spend.Lead, train, and coach, a team of 5-10 direct reportsRemain up-to-date with relevant beauty and industry trends to produce relevant and creative content that drives engagement and collaborationWhat You’ll Need:

A bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in Marketing, Advertising, Visual Communication, or related field10+ years of relevant leadership experience, industry relevant CPG/Skin/Beauty experience required.P&L and budget management experience required.Proven leader with high sensitivity:

able to demonstrate respect when leading and motivating others.Curious creative:

proposes unique solutions to promote sales, add value, and fosters trust amongst others.Exceptional organizational and prioritization/time management skills; demonstrated ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.Comfortable operating in a fast paced, ever-changing environment; someone who thrives in ambiguity and adapts quickly.Possess an energetic, positive attitude that encourages a team and supports the growth and professional development of others.
