Job Title: Mechanical Designer
Job Description
• Process customer projects for design/layout for best manufacturing principles
• Layout customer drawings for processing on lasers, punch, waterjet, and press breaks
• Work with project managers to ensure customer requirements are met
• Ensure proper document flow in a timely fashion to other areas of the organization for both internal and external customers
• Drive/participate in process improvement activities for manufacturing
• Perform other duties as assigned by leadership
Hard Skills
Basic manufacturing principles in sheet metal
Blueprint reading skills
Strong experience in Solidworks or other 3-D Software
Job Type
This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).
Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in De Pere, Wisconsin.
Work Environment
Collaborative work environment involving close interaction with project managers and other departments. Emphasis on timely document flow and continuous process improvement.
