Our client, a fitness and lifestyle company, is looking for a
VP of Marketing
to join their team for an exciting, direct-hire opportunity.
VP of Marketing Responsibilities:
Leverage research and data analytics to define, execute, and evaluate both strategic and tactical marketing and public relations plans.
Identify and capitalize on revenue opportunities within franchisees and customer segments to drive growth through acquisition, conversion, and retention.
Lead corporate communications efforts, both internally and externally, to maintain consistent messaging and brand integrity.
Oversee public relations initiatives to enhance the brand’s reputation and maintain positive media relationships.
Manage short-term and long-term scheduling, budget, and resource needs, ensuring alignment with company goals.
Create and oversee the annual marketing budget, optimizing resource allocation to achieve maximum ROI.
Establish and manage strategic alliances and third-party relationships to support marketing initiatives.
Negotiate contracts with vendors and outside contractors, in line with corporate policies.
Build and lead a high-performing marketing team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability.
Actively mentor and develop the marketing team to ensure readiness for future department needs.
Collaborate with internal departments to align strategies and support overall business objectives.
Provide regular updates and strategic reviews to the Executive Team.
Stay current with industry trends, consumer behavior, and competitive landscape to inform marketing strategies and drive innovation.
Translate industry insights into actionable plans to maintain a leadership position in the fitness sector.
VP of Marketing Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, advertising, business, or a related field; MBA preferred.
Minimum of 8 years of experience in brand and digital marketing.
At least 5 years in a senior leadership role with team management responsibilities.
Experience in the fitness industry, franchise business, or relevant franchisee experience is a plus.
Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets effectively.
Excellent leadership, organizational, decision-making, communication, and negotiation skills.
Proficiency in content management systems, design software, and social media platforms.
