Make your application after reading the following skill and qualification requirements for this position.SummaryThe NFL’s social media team is seeking a Social Content Programmer to help manage the day-to-day creation, production, and execution of social content across the NFL’s primary social channels. This person in this role will be joining the NFL’s social programming team and will be helping directly manage the league’s social presence across several platforms and verticals. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for the game along with an extensive understanding of all social media platforms.ResponsibilitiesPlan, create, and publish content of all types directly on primary NFL social media platformsDemonstrate strong news and social judgment in editing and determining what is socially relevant and what is notConstantly evaluating how the NFL can enhance content and evolve distribution across various social media platformsAbility to identify stories and make editorial and packaging decisions that result in ideal social performanceEvaluate and interpret performance analytics to understand what’s working, and what’s not, while being prepared to pivot at any timeWork alongside social managers on the ideation and execution of editorial and marketing calendarsCollaborate with various internal stakeholders to coordinate social content initiatives and creativeLive/real-time coverage and support of NFL games and tentpole eventsRequired QualificationsBachelor’s Degree and 1+ years of social/editorial experience.Preferred Education and ExperienceBasic video + photo editing experience, preferably in Adobe products Photoshop, and Premiere ProOther Key Attributes / CharacteristicsAbility to work nights, weekends, early mornings, and holidaysStrong written and verbal communication skillsStrong organizational skillsComprehensive knowledge of the NFL, all 32 teams, and players across the leagueAbility to work well under tight deadlines and thrive in the "always-on", 24/7 NFL news cycleStrong eye for social-friendly content, with the ability to understand what will perform wellEmbody an enthusiastic, proactive can-do attitudeExcel as a relationship builder, with the ability to influenceEager learner, driven by passion rather than just ambitionEncompasses an incredible work ethic with an agile mindsetTerms / Expected Hours of Work40 hours/week with potential for overtime.This job posting is for a position with one of the NFL’s third-party agency partners that provides services to the NFL.
