The Marketing Specialist will play an integral role in creating and executing marketing plans to engage current and prospective patients and the members and leaders of the communities that Sturdy Health serves. The Marketing Specialist will create, or guide the creation of, written, graphic and video content for social media, the website, and other dissemination channels. The Marketing Specialist will also lead the ongoing maintenance and continued improvement of the website to reflect the current offerings at Sturdy Health. The Marketing Specialist will work collaboratively with the Brand Experience team to ensure consistent messaging and branding while supporting the marketing and communications needs of teams across the health system.Education/Training

The Marketing Specialist will also lead the ongoing maintenance and continued improvement of the website to reflect the current offerings at Sturdy Health. The Marketing Specialist will work collaboratively with the Brand Experience team to ensure consistent messaging and branding while supporting the marketing and communications needs of teams across the health system.

Essential Job Functions:

Develop and maintain system-wide content plan and calendar. Organize internal and external resources to ensure the high quality, on-time delivery of content in all forms, including social posts, blogs, articles, videos, photographs, webinars, emails, newsletters, and infographics.Develop and maintain the ongoing organic and paid social media calendar and coordinate with colleagues to share content and information that drives traffic to Sturdy Health, our website, and the activities available to the community.Manage the Sturdy Health website, including content creation, SEO optimization, site editing, and partnering with web vendor to maintain and enhance the website.Work with staff system-wide, including physicians, clinicians, and team members, to identify and capture ongoing improvements, team progress, and patient stories.Source content for and publish content pieces, including patient marketing newsletters, direct mail, live clinician webinars, and video and written stories.Ensure the timely promotion of system-wide activities and information on social, the website, newsletters, and through partnerships in the community.Own the promotion of providers through the creation of online profiles, capturing professional photos, and creating promotional campaigns, as needed.Assist with preparing and executing advertising campaigns.Partner with Brand Experience colleagues to update and maintain Sturdy Health's brand across the health system.Represent the Brand Experience team on select committees throughout the health systemCoordinate and execute all photography and video capture project plans for all marketing efforts.Manage, track, and report on content and account activity for Sturdy's social media and web presence.Assist in strengthening and maintaining a favorable public perception of Sturdy Health by communicating with the system's internal and external constitutes.Coordinate printing and distribution of marketing materials.Assist at all community and staff events hosted by Sturdy Health, as requested.Obtain all necessary approvals and maintain written consent for all content/photos/video being created for internal or external marketing efforts.Take photographs throughout system to represent the work and celebrations of team members.Support reputation management digital platform, including consumer response and reporting.Positively and professionally model the Sturdy Health values.Required

Qualifications and Skills:

Minimum 5 years relevant experience in a marketing or communications role.Skilled in writing, layout, editing, and proofreading with strong attention to detail.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Independent, self-starter with a strong sense of ownership and the ability to work independently while keeping the team and key point people updated on efforts.Demonstrated ability to build and execute a social media content plan while coordinating with internal and external colleagues. Ability to manage paid social boosting.Experience creating and updating web content while optimizing for clarity and SEO.Ability to write business communications, talking points, fliers, articles, and similar content aligned to the brand's messaging and voice.Strong interpersonal skills with a high level of customer service.Ability to distill complex messages into the appropriate communication for a variety of audiences.Ability to clearly, positively, and professionally represent the Sturdy Health brand in all forums.Ability to multi-task, pivot and work effectively in a fast-paced environment as a collaborative, inclusive team member.Ability to meet deadlines while effectively managing changing priorities.Ability to function effectively in a collaborative and fast-paced environment with minimal guidance.Ability to work occasional evenings and weekends, as needed.Proficiency with Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, Canva, or equivalent required.Experience with email marketing and marketing automation tools required; experience with HubSpot or Constant Contact preferred.Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365, especially Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word, required.
