Albright College is seeking a talented and motivated Grant Writer to join our Advancement team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for researching, writing, and submitting grant proposals to secure funding for various academic programs, initiatives, and projects. Proposals to government entities, corporations, and/or foundations are expected. This role requires strong writing skills, attention to detail, and a passion for advancing the mission of the college.

Key Responsibilities:

Research Funding Opportunities: Identify potential grant opportunities from foundations, corporations, and government agencies that align with Albright College's strategic goals.Proposal Development: Write, edit, and submit compelling grant proposals and applications, ensuring they meet all guidelines and deadlines.Collaboration: Work closely with faculty, staff, and administration to gather relevant information and data for proposals. Collaborate with faculty and staff on program development to align funding requests with institutional needs.Grant Reporting: Monitor and track grant progress and deliverables; prepare required reports for funders to ensure compliance and continued funding.Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintain detailed records of grant submissions, funding opportunities, and outcomes to facilitate tracking and future applications.Stay Informed: Keep abreast of trends in grant funding and the philanthropic landscape, including changes in regulations and best practices in grant writing.Training and Support: Provide training and guidance to faculty and staff on grant-writing best practices and funding opportunities.Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; advanced degree preferred.Proven experience in grant writing, with a successful track record of securing funding.Exceptional writing, editing, and communication skills.Strong analytical and research abilities.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.Familiarity with the higher education landscape and non-profit funding sources is a plus.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and grant management software.Benefits:
