This leader will build brand marketing strategies driven by customer insights and rooted in business needs to ultimately expand the Product to more markets, driving awareness, consideration and traffic in alignment with GTM plans and GMV goals.

This is a high-impact role that will work within the business-side marketing team in partnership with internal Walmart marketing, internal creative, and external agencies/partners to activate market launch campaigns and bring LocalFinds to life.

What you'll do:

Market Research, Customer & Competitor Insights:

Perform regular analysis of market and customer segments, sharing marketing, product, and growth opportunities for market launches, short-term and long-term strategic planning.

Brand Marketing Strategy:

Own the value prop and vision, generating creative briefs that translate business needs to marketing strategies that will successfully drive results. Take a 360 approach across media, partnerships, site, operations, editorial, and more.

Creative Production:

Lead the design direction and development of creative in partnership with internal and external teams. Act as ambassador, interfacing regularly with design partners to develop creative and oversee photoshoots and video shoots, as needed. Act as internal brand steward to own continuity of brand position and ensure consistency from development to customer-facing assets.

Team Leadership:

Build a high-performing team to successfully launch in multiple markets as outlined in GTM plans. Manage relationships and communicate project information to all stakeholders at a level appropriate to their needs and proactively keep team members on deadlines in an effective but collaborative way.

Reporting:

Standup methodology and reporting to quantify brand growth and creative success, such as awareness lift studies, market penetration, NPS reporting, social listening, etc. Present to senior leadership, influencing business and creative decisions and direction.

You are highly adaptable, with a capacity to think and react in a high-energy, fast-paced environment.

You are comfortable working with cross-functional and external partners who are distributed across offices and geographies.

Minimum qualifications:

8+ years marketing experience, emphasis on regional/DMA level.

5+ years leading brand strategy.

3+ years overseeing creative production.

Preferred qualifications:

Local commerce platform experience (i.e. marketplaces, community-based shopping).

Experience operating in a complex, matrixed organization.

Experience launching a new brand from scratch.

Hoboken, New Jersey US-10279: The annual salary range for this position is $108,000.00-$216,000.00. San Bruno, California US-08848: The annual salary range for this position is $117,000.00-$234,000.00. Bentonville, Arkansas US-09401: The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00-$180,000.00. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include stock.
