Responsible for development, implementation, and monitoring of market access marketing strategy for Immunology, Gastroenterology in partnership with the Portfolio leads and in collaboration with the Integrated Brand Team. Effectively orchestrate communication and alignment across US Market Access teams and remove barriers to progress through effective leadership skills and Ways of Working. Provide positive leadership in the development and management of the therapeutic area team and influence a thriving and motivating culture and environment within the broader Market Access organization.Key Responsibilities Include:Provide overarching leadership and direction for the Market Access Marketing vision, strategies, plans and resource investment for the Immunology portfolio in the Gastroenterology business. Encompass a “One AbbVie” mindset and perspective in all strategies.Lead the assessment of the clinical and economic dynamics of administration profiles associated with AbbVie’s portfolio as well as that of the market to accurately characterize the landscape and identify the optimal reimbursement pathway for future launches and to optimize current portfolio.Ensure cross-functional involvement, alignment, appreciation and preparation for various market access strategies across the various sites of care, payers, and supply chain stakeholders. Ensure the team defines and quantifies the impact of key channel decisions on the broader pricing strategy as well as how these decisions can impact the economic and logistical factors that weigh into treatment choices.Anticipate internal and external shifts and obstacles to prepare a guiding point of view or perspective in the rapidly evolving reimbursement landscape that is Gastroenterology.Support the Matrix and the IBT with navigating the complexity of a multi-layered patient journey across several sites of care and fragmented coverage and reimbursement mechanisms.Set tone and priorities for scale and scope of accountability. Influence and persuade across multiple external and internal stakeholders and partners. Infuse AbbVie Ways of Working and Talent Philosophy in day-to-day leadership and management of the business.Use coaching effectively and efficiently to support the performance and development of direct reports. Apply the AbbVie Talent Philosophy and Ways of Working and ensure timely, transparent feedback. Leverage leadership skills to create high-performing teams and elevate the groups marketing skills and knowledge.Determine appropriate action, execution, tracking and monitoring of projects by employing scenario planning, segmentation, positioning, innovation, creative development, investment optimization as needed. Lead development of critical value propositions by encouraging the clear articulation the business strategy and economic choices for each stakeholder and teaching the skill of translating the brand story to key Market Access stakeholders.Ensure a keen awareness of Market trends, signals of change and the voice of the customer. Maintain focus on and consistently triangulate market dynamics, constituents’ needs, and business priorities to determine best, market-advantaged course of action.Deliver strategic impact through formulation and adjustment of business plans and actions to achieve business objectives and goals, including financial, constituents and market results. Grow and gain share and penetration. Take and recommend appropriate strategic decisions and actions for the best interest of AbbVie, franchise and brand at the varying life cycle stages.Qualifications
Basic:Bachelor’s Degree required.Market access experience required.Proven marketing experience required.Cross-functional experiences including field sales, finance, market analytics valued.Positive, solutions-oriented attitude required.Preferred:Experience working across Market Access stakeholders in a buy-and-bill marketKnowledge of medical benefit managementImmunology experience preferred but not required.Additional Information

Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors including geographic location, and we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range.
