Are you ready to apply Make sure you understand all the responsibilities and tasks associated with this role before proceeding.Job Description The Associate Director (AD) for RINVOQ will be responsible for omnichannel promotional initiatives to ensure the successful planning and execution of RINVOQ in the Rheumatoid Arthritis indication. The AD will coordinate across both internal and external stakeholders to enable an integrated and successful approach. Strategic elements of the role will include everything from deep understanding of customer insights through engagement strategies to closed-loop marketing tactics. This person will be responsible for leading a team to develop the strategic plan and professional tactics to drive brand performance through the omnichannel including: CRM, web, in-office and other print and digital communications. In addition, partnering across functional teams and Immunology franchise, both US and International, will be critical to ensure successful implementation of tactics for RINVOQ.This individual will report to the Director of Marketing, RA.The responsibilities of this role are listed below but may shift based on business needs.Talent development – this individual will be leading omnichannel promotional team and responsible for talent management and support the culture and the development of the team.Brand plan/tactical plan development – This individual will support the development of the brand and tactical planning for RINVOQ, including the synthesis of market research insights and complex clinical data that informs innovative tactical execution.Execution of Professional Tactics – This person will execute, in partnership with the agency and MRL partners, key NPP tactics to support RINVOQ business focusing on non-rep channel.Sales Force Engagement – This individual will partner closely with the sales force and sales training to develop effective tools that will allow for a comprehensive approach.Strategic Communication – This individual will plan and execute an internal and external communication plan in partnership with Medical, Public Affairs, and other cross-functional partners to maximize share-of-voice of RINVOQ.Finance – This individual will ensure Omnichannel strategies stays within budget and partners with finance and other brand partners to maintain oversight throughout the year.Qualifications
Basic:Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field.Digital Marketing experience either inside or outside of the pharmaceutical industry.Proven ability to complete work product on-time with excellence.Proven ability to work cross-functionally.Pharmaceutical marketing experience.Someone who can create digital vision including how fragmented ideas come together into a bigger picture strategy.Proven ability to lead a cross functional team and execute vision.Proven to be influential across a matrix environment.Deals well with ambiguity and uncertainty.Proven success in working with and partnering with external partners.Excellent communication (oral, written, and presentation) and interpersonal skills.Strong planning and organization skills, attention to detail, execution, and follow-through.Budget management experience.Preferred:6+ years of relevant brand marketing experience.Prior experience in pharmaceutical marketing.Pharmaceutical launch experience.Strategic and tactical planning experience.MBA or other advanced degree.Someone who has people management experience a plus.Additional Information Applicable only to applicants applying to a position in any location with pay disclosure requirements under state or local law:The compensation range described below is the range of possible base pay compensation that the Company believes in good faith it will pay for this role at the time of this posting based on the job grade for this position.
